Despite the advantage of the red-and-whites, the Dynamos showed a reliable defensive game and got the victory in a crucial match (1:0).
The Moscow derby between Dynamo and Spartak has justified the status of one of the most anticipated matches of the tour. The meeting at the blue and white home stadium turned into a real battle of wills, where a single goal and a dramatic denouement in the last seconds determined the winner.
From the very beginning of the match, the teams set a high pace. Already by the 5th minute, the rivals managed to exchange corner shots and conduct several promising attacks, although at first it did not come to accented blows. Alisa Klimova was the first to break the lull in the 6th minute: the Dynamo midfielder struck the first shot on target, checking goalkeeper Angelina Shirochenko in the goal – she was in place. Two minutes later, Spartak responded with its attack: Valeria Batyreva shot at the goal, but Arina Taranchenko confidently fixed the ball in her hands.
By the 10th minute, the game had become more viscous – there was a lot of fighting on the field, and both teams began to actively foul. Soon the initiative began to gradually pass to the guests. At the 12th minute, the Spartak players began to actively rock the Dynamo defense through the flanks, and by the 14th minute the advantage of the red and white became noticeable. In the 15th minute, a long-range strike by Spartak almost led to a curiosity: Taranchenko did not hold the ball in her hands at first, but instantly got her bearings and took it away on the second attempt.
However, in the 18th minute it was Dynamo that opened the scoring. The same Klimova on the left flank found a transfer to Irina Dricheva, who executed the most accurate canopy into the penalty area. There, Ekaterina Sergeeva, having come unstuck from custody in time, put her foot up and sent the ball into the net — 1:0!
Blue and white could score the second goal in two minutes. Kristina Kubatkina dangerously hit the bottom with a free kick – Shirochenko hit the ball in front of her, but the first to pick up was the Spartak defender, who knocked the ball out of the danger zone.
After that, Spartak intensified the onslaught. In the 24th minute, after a dangerous corner, the Dynamo defenders barely fought back. In the 28th minute, Violetta Kahramanzade dangerously hit from the penalty line, but Klimova selflessly blocked this shot. Only by the 30th minute did Dynamo manage to move the game away from their goal and make some good approaches.
The degree of struggle grew, and in the 35th minute Dricheva received the first yellow card of the match for a gross foul in the center of the field.
The end of the first half was also left to the guests. In the 37th minute, Batyreva brought Anna Ermakova to the strike position, but after the rebound from the defender, the ball went to the corner. A minute later, Kahramanzade actually went one—on-one with Taranchenko, but she struck vaguely - the ball went along the goal. In the 42nd minute, the same Kahramanzade attacked the goal again, but Kubatkina took the blow.
Despite Spartak's game advantage, the teams left for the break with a score of 1:0 in favor of Dynamo.
The second half began with a palpable pressure of red and white. At the 47th minute, the guests resumed the assault, but the Dynamo players left the locker room no less charged. Activity on both sides by the 53rd minute again resulted in an abundance of fouls and violations, sometimes turning into a frankly rough game. By the 60th minute, combination football had almost disappeared - single combats and mutual mistakes reigned on the field.
In the 64th minute, Spartak had a real chance to even the score: Yana Svistunova powerfully punched into the near corner, but Taranchenko showed a brilliant reaction. The pressure of the guests did not weaken, in the 72nd minute Anastasia Betsivu's shot was blocked by the defenders. Only by the 75th minute the game calmed down a little, and the passions began to subside. Spartak continued to look for loopholes in the Dynamo defense, but to no avail. In the 83rd minute, Batyreva's most dangerous blow went over the crossbar - in this episode Arina Taranchenko could not help out.
In the final segment, Dynamo rarely went on the attack: in the 86th minute, after one of these approaches, none of the attacking players got to the ball in the penalty area.
The climax of the game came at 90 +7th minute: the final assault of Spartak ended with a corner and an unexpected red card for the goalkeeper of the guests Angelina Shirochenko. Immediately after that, the whistle sounded, recording the labor victory of the blue and white in the derby.
