The white-and-blues will play against teams from Volgograd or Tambov.
On Wednesday, April 10, as a result of the draw, the potential opponent with whom the WFC "Dynamo" will play in the 1/8 finals of the Winline Cup of Russia was determined. It will be the winner of the pair WFC "Academy of Football" (Tambov) – "SS Rotor" (Volgograd), who will meet each other in the 1/16 finals of the tournament on June 8.
According to the regulations, teams that finished in places 1 to 8 at the end of the Super League-2023 start in the national cup from the 1/8 finals. Recall that last season WFC "Dynamo" finished in 5th place in the championship.
The match between "Dynamo" and the club from this pair will take place at the beginning of July. The exact date and venue of the match will be determined later, once the teams have played the first stage of the tournament.
The draw for the national cup in the 2024 season will follow the classic scheme:
– in each round, teams play one match at home or away
– if the result is a draw in regular time, a penalty shootout is held
– the losing team is eliminated from the tournament
If successful in the 1/8 finals, our team may face in the next round the two-time holder of the Winline Russian Cup and the bronze medalist of the Super League-2023 – WFC "Lokomotiv" (Moscow).
Before the final, which will take place in October, other Super League clubs could become opponents of our girls – WFC "Zenit" (Saint Petersburg), "Yenisey" (Krasnoyarsk), "Rubin" (Kazan), "Chertanovo" (Moscow).
