The head coach of the Dynamo Football Club answered questions after a major victory over Yenisei (5:0).
— You have been talking a lot lately about the mentality of the team, that it has become different. Is today's 5-0 a mental victory or rather a victory in class?
— I think that both. If we are talking about mentality, first of all about how the team approached the game with this opponent, realizing that he is not in the best condition right now. From the point of view of the sports component, the content of the game speaks for itself.
— From the point of view of coaching experience, you had different ones, including the championship with CSKA, there will be no medals this year, which is more useful – to win or lose?
— If we take the beginning of the season, then our team was treated with such skepticism – that we will be almost third from the end in the championship. Today it is clear that I would like to get points in some matches, but there are young girls who are certainly progressing and showing a completely different level of play than last season. If you look at it from this point of view, it's a big step forward.
But the appetite comes during the meal, you always want to win and fight for prizes. And, of course, we will strive for this.
— What is the task for the rest of the season? What will make you happy at the end of the remaining two rounds?
— My happiness as a coach is inseparable from the happiness of the team. I want to show the good content of the game, and to please our fans, for whom we play, and to win. Therefore, it doesn't matter how many matches are left to play, the main thing is to show a beautiful and meaningful game.
