
On Wednesday, the head coach of the Dynamo Football Club, Sergei Lavrentiev, turns 53.
Sergey Lavrentiev is a graduate of the Dynamo Moscow football Academy, during his playing career he played as a striker for the capital's Dynamo-2, Torpedo-ZIL, Tula Arsenal and German teams.
As a head coach, he worked in the Housing and Communal Services "Izmailovo", "Chertanovo", CSKA (all – Moscow), and from 2012 to 2015 headed the women's national team of Russia, which under his leadership took part in the European Championship-2013.
In December 2021, Sergey Lavrentiev was appointed head coach of Dynamo U-21 women's football club. In the first season, the team under his leadership won silver medals of the Youth League. In December 2022, he became the head coach of the main team of the Dynamo Housing and Communal Complex, which has been playing in the Super League since the 2023 season. In the debut season at the highest level, the blue and white team under his leadership took 5th place, and in 2024 they repeated this result in the championship and reached the 1/4 finals of the Cup of Russia.
