Dynamo goalkeeper Diana Ponomareva celebrates her birthday on Monday.
Diana was born in Moscow and started playing football at the age of 8. At the age of 13, the young football player got into the Chertanovo football school, where in a few years she went from children's teams to the main Super League team.
At the age of 16, Ponomareva made her debut in the main squad of the Housing and Communal Complex Chertanovo, in which she won the silver medals of the Russian Championship (2018), reached the final of the National Cup (2017). In the 2020, 2021 and 2022 seasons, she took part in all official matches of her team, and at the end of the season, the goalkeeper was recognized as the best player of the Chertanov club.
Since 2022, Diana has been playing for the Russian national team, and since January 2023 - for the Moscow Dynamo. Ponomareva has already played 55 matches for the blue and white, in 20 of them she kept her gates intact.
