On Sunday, the goalkeeper of the Dynamo youth football team Diana Valieva celebrates her birthday.
Diana was born in Moscow and started playing football at the age of 8 at the football school of the Housing and Communal Complex "Chertanovo". The pupil of the capital's club first played as a defender both in her native club and in other Moscow teams – Torpedo and Lokomotiv. And only in the 2023 season she took a place in the goal, where she has been playing ever since.
In January 2024, Diana Valieva joined the Dynamo Moscow system – the goalkeeper played for the U-16 and U-18 junior teams, and in the 2025 season she made her debut for the blue and white youth team. Interestingly, of the two games held for the Dynamo youth team, Diana played one in the usual position of goalkeeper, and in the second, in Novoshakhtinsk with Rostov (6:1), in the very end she replaced Valeria Azeeva in the position of fullback, which she also knows well from her early performances for other teams.
