Team status
In the 22nd round of the Super League, our girls went to the northeast of Moscow to meet with Lokomotiv Housing and Communal Services, which was held at Sapsan Arena.
The game started at a calm pace. Already in the 5th minute, the Lokomotiv players struck the first shot at the goal, which was easily handled by the goalkeeper of the blue and white Anastasia Ananyeva. At the beginning of the match, Dynamo players focused on drawing standard positions and active high pressure. The team controlled the ball, making attempts to build positional attacks.
By the middle of the half, the Dynamos had switched to a defensive game, closing free zones for rivals, and switched to the tactics of quick counterattacks. So, in the 20th minute, Dynamo midfielder Anastasia Shlapakova tried to throw home goalkeeper Margarita Shirokova out of the gate, but the ball did not hit the target. Lokomotiv's retaliatory attack ended with a hit to the crossbar after being hit by Serbian striker Elena Chubrilo. However, the main referee of the match, Anna Fedina, recorded in this episode a hand game from the attacking player's side until the moment of impact.
The end of the first half was held at a high pace, but without scoring chances. Just before the break, Lokomotiv players organized several approaches to the goal, but Anastasia Ananyeva averted the threat every time. After the referee did not add a minute of compensated time, the teams went to the locker rooms with the score 0-0.
The second half began with a positional struggle in the center of the field. In the 51st minute, Lokomotiv player Polina Yuklyaeva struck from a vantage point above the goal. Soon Nelly Korovkina lost the ball in the penalty area, stumbling when entering the strike position. By the 60th minute, the pressure of the hosts intensified, a series of attacks followed at the Dynamo gate. In the 62nd minute, Korovkina's long-range shot missed the target, and in the next episode Anastasia Ananyeva parried her own aimed shot.
And yet, soon the score in the match changed. In the 65th minute, Polina Yuklyaeva struck a solid blow, the Dynamo goalkeeper hit the ball, but the ubiquitous Nelly Korovkina was the first to finish off, which brought Lokomotiv forward. The blue and white coaching staff immediately made a triple substitution: Anna Sas came out instead of Tatyana Danilochkina, Milena Lyubimova replaced Isidora Vuchkovich, and Berivan Ichen appeared on the field instead of Kristina Komissarova.
Soon the game picture began to change. In the 85th minute, Berivan Ichen struck from outside the penalty area, Margarita Shirokova hit the ball in front of her, but the defenders took it out of the danger zone.
The denouement came in the 90th minute, when the blue and white earned a free kick near the Loko gate. Berivan Ichen undertook to perform it. And for good reason! The Turkish woman powerfully punched the post, after which the ball bounced to Milena Lyubimova, and she immediately struck an accurate shot into the upper corner of the goal, equalizing the score – 1:1!
There was practically no time left to snatch victory from one of the teams, and despite the fact that the referee added three minutes to the main time, the score on the scoreboard remained the same. Lokomotiv and Dynamo drew for the first time in the history of personal meetings.
Top 3 interesting facts about the match
2nd
Milena Lyubimova scored the career goal for the Dynamo main team. Earlier, the 16-year-old blue and white striker had already set a record for the youngest goal of the club in the Super League – in June she scored "Krasnodar" (2:0) at the age of 16 years, 6 months and 28 days.
25
Anastasia Shlapakova entered martial arts once, most often in Dynamo. She, more often than all Dynamo players, went around and picked up the ball (6 times each).
80
Yulia Myasnikova made the assists in the match with Lokomotiv, becoming the best packer in both teams.
Dynamo footballers Daniela Basaeva (63) and Nadezhda Koltakova (59) are also among the top three players in this indicator. Moreover, Basaeva showed the highest accuracy of her passes – 95% (60) of her passes were accurate.
About the opponent
The next opponent of the blue and white - ZHFC CSKA is one of two contenders for the championship title this season. The second, we recall, is St. Petersburg Zenit. The teams are separated by only one point in the standings, and the Moscow club is still playing the role of catching up.
There are only four rounds ahead, which means that any loss of points now means the end of the fight for the championship. However, much, if not all, will be decided in a personal meeting between Zenit and CSKA, which will take place in the penultimate round of the Super League and will be held in St. Petersburg.
And if the Petersburgers suffered their first defeat of the season (!) in the previous round, sensationally losing at home to Chertanovo, then Sergei Rusetsky's wards have not known defeats since the beginning of August – they have 5 wins, 3 of which are big, and only one missed goal!
During the same time, CSKA won its fifth Russian Cup, beating Zenit St. Petersburg in the semifinals by the sum of two matches." (1:1, 0:0, 7:6 on penalties), and in the final at the Russian Railways Arena, leaving no chance for the capital's Lokomotiv (3:1).
Perhaps, for any other team, this victory alone would mean that the season could be recognized as successful, but not for CSKA. This is because the army club has not known the main trophy – the Super League championship since 2020, when it was won under the leadership of Maxim Zinoviev, now the head coach of Dynamo.
And here, of course, it is impossible not to mention that the long-term mentor of the army team has been leading the blue and white team since this season and has played one match against the former club so far. In the first round game at the Khimki Arena, the red and blue were stronger - 2:0. There is no doubt that the upcoming meeting will be more than an ordinary meeting for the Dynamo mentor at the end of a difficult season, his debut at the head of Dynamo.
As it will be fundamental for a whole group of players – ex-army Anastasia Ananyeva and Yulia Myasnikova, ex-dynamovka Diana Ponomareva.
This match will be all the more important because Dynamo has never won against CSKA before in the history of the confrontation. Moreover, in official matches, the blue and white did not take away points from the red and blue, and two draws occurred in friendly games.
