On Wednesday, Dynamo goalkeeper Arina Taranchenko celebrates her birthday.
Arina has been in football since the age of 11, her first coach is Natalia Titkova, and before finally choosing the role of goalkeeper for herself, she managed to try herself even in attack.
Arina Taranchenko went down in the history of the Dynamo Football Club, becoming the first football player to sign a professional contract with the blue and white, as well as the main goalkeeper in the first season in the history of the club, which the Dynamo spent in the Youth League. In the 2022 season, she played 22 matches for Dynamo (10 of them for zero) and helped the team win silver medals at the youth championship. It is not surprising that at the end of that season Arina was recognized as the best goalkeeper of the league!
In August of the same 2022, Taranchenko received her first call-up to the Russian national team, for which she made her debut on September 5 in a friendly match with Strogino Housing and Communal Services (6:1). Arina also played her first match in the Super League at zero – on April 29, 2023 in Samara against the Krylia Sovetov Housing and Communal Complex (2:0).
In total, Taranchenko played 69 matches for the Dynamo youth and main teams, 29 of them for zero.
