Team status

In the last round, the Dynamo youth team, in the absence of its injured captain Daniella Petrova, went to Yegoryevsk near Moscow for a duel with ZHFC Master-Saturn. The meeting, in which the blue and white had the initiative most of the time, turned into a difficult test after a quick missed goal.

Dynamovki started the game as actively as possible, literally pressing the opponents to the goal from the first minutes. Already in the 4th minute Irina Dricheva gave a jewelery from the corner, and Eva Rabchenyuk, having won the fight on the second floor, powerfully shot at the goal — the housewives were saved by the crossbar! The advantage of our team in the opening game was overwhelming: full ball control and tight pressure forced Master Saturn to focus exclusively on defense. At the 8th minute, another standard performed by Dricheva led to a moment with Kristina Kubatkina, who, after winning the single combat from the defenders of the Moscow region, managed to break through, but the ball went over the target.

Despite the tangible superiority of Dynamo in the game, the first meaningful attack of the Moscow Region team became effective in the 15th minute. Maria Timofeeva received a transfer in the penalty area and, taking advantage of the lack of tight custody, coolly punched past Arina Taranchenko.

The missed ball somewhat tempered the attacking ardor of the Muscovites, allowing the hostesses of the field to seize the initiative. Within a few minutes, Master Saturn pressed Dynamo to the goal and earned a dangerous penalty, which, however, was executed inaccurately. By the middle of the half, the game had leveled off, but in the 24th minute another alarming moment arose: due to the inconsistency of the actions of the defense and the goalkeeper of the blue and white Timofeeva almost scored a double. The forward tried to throw Taranchenko, but the Dynamo goalkeeper managed to neutralize the threat in time. The end of the first half was held in a viscous struggle in the middle of the field, where the players from Yegoryevsk acted more sharply, not allowing the dynamos to disperse the attack.

The Dynamo coaching staff started the second half of the meeting with a reshuffle: Ksenia Pilnikova replaced Kubatkina on the field. Muscovites immediately went ahead, and already in the 46th minute Dricheva checked the vigilance of Svetlana Zenkova with a shot on target. The answer of the hostesses followed immediately, but the shot of Valeria Biryukova went far from the target.

In the 51st minute, the individual skill of Irina Dricheva brought the result. The midfielder dribbled into the penalty area and forced the opponents to break the rules. Ekaterina Sergeeva approached the eleven-meter mark. The goalkeeper of "Master Saturn" repelled the first shot, but Sergeeva instantly oriented herself on finishing and sent the ball into the net on the second attempt — 1:1!

Inspired by the success, dynamovki increased the pressure, although the game was often divided into episodes with a lot of marriage in the programs. In the 71st minute, Anastasia Buchatskaya gave a perfect shot along the goal, but Eva Rabchenyuk lacked one touch to close the transfer to an empty corner. Dynamo's coaching staff made a triple substitution in an attempt to put the squeeze on the opponent, which allowed the team to organize the final assault.

At the same time, Master Saturn continued to respond dangerously to counterattacks. In the 86th minute, Milana Gubaidulina found herself alone in front of the goal, but Arina Taranchenko saved the team by fixing the ball after a direct hit. The last minutes of the match turned into a confrontation between the Dynamo striker Yana Nesterenko and the goalkeeper of the hostesses Svetlana Zenkova.

First, Nesterenko, after Daria Sorokina's shot, struck into touch — the ball was stopped by the goalkeeper right on the goal line. And already in compensated time, after Varvara Demidova's overhang, Yana delivered a powerful headbutt under the crossbar, but Zenkova made a spectacular save, transferring the ball to the corner.

Immediately after the submission of this standard, the final whistle sounded, recording a draw – the first for Dynamo this season.

About the opponent, the history of the confrontation, the judging panel

The opponent of the blue and white in the 8th round is the youth team of the Zenit Housing and Communal Services - traditionally one of the leaders and favorites of the Youth League. The current season was no exception. Blue-white-blue are in the leading group of the championship, which, in addition to Zenit itself, is made up of Moscow clubs – Dynamo and CSKA.

All three clubs have the same number of points – 16 each, identical indicators of wins, draws and defeats (5 wins – 1 draw – 1 defeat), however, in terms of the difference between scored and conceded, our team is still inferior in this top three to both CSKA and Zenit. By the way, Roman Levendeev's wards suffered their only defeat of the season on the road from the army club (1:2). Another loss of points happened in a home game against another Moscow team – Spartak (0:0).

In all other matches, there are quite predictable victories with a minimum number of goals conceded: Rubin (2:0), Chertanovo (3:0), Master Saturn (2:1), Zvezda-2005" (4:0), " Krasnodar" (2:1) in the last round a week ago.

By the way, according to this indicator, Zenit is the sole leader of the entire Youth League. No one missed less than the team from the banks of the Neva: only 4 goals in 7 matches! For comparison, the other two leaders of the championship missed more: CSKA – 6 goals conceded, Dynamo – 7. Even the current champion of the Youth League, Lokomotiv Moscow, who missed 5 goals, does not reach the blue-white-blue. So everything is in perfect order with the defense of our closest opponent.

How good everything is with the attacking game. Zenit players have scored 14 goals in 7 matches, that is, the players of the St. Petersburg team score exactly 2 goals on average to their rivals. Interestingly, all these 14 goals were almost evenly distributed among 9 players, and the main scorer of Zenit Anastasia Gnennaya has three goals scored so far. And yes, this name should be familiar to Dynamo fans – in 2024-2025, the defender played for the Dynamo youth team. The 20-year-old footballer has 14 matches, 3 goals and 1 assist as part of the blue and white.

The history of the Dynamo and Zenit meetings will also add to the principled opposition. At the moment, the teams have played 7 matches with each other, none of which was a draw: Dynamo has 2 wins and Zenit has 5 wins, the goal difference is 5-16.

Another interesting fact: if Zenit won, it invariably did so with a "dry" score – the goal difference in these matches is 13-0 in favor of the blue-white-blues! So one of the main tasks of Dynamo football players in the next meeting will be the fastest possible goal against rivals from St. Petersburg. This will at least deprive them of their main trump card in the confrontation with the Dynamo team.
