Team status
In the previous round of the Youth League, the blue and white met with another capital club - JFC CSKA. The meeting of the teams began without a long buildup: by the 5th minute, the rivals exchanged sharp attacks, and as part of the blue and white, Milena Lyubimova and Eva Rabchenyuk showed the most noticeable activity at the start. The debut of the match took place in a tight fight and tough single combats, there was even a forced substitution as part of the guests – in the 8th minute, army striker Kristina Kutafina left the field due to injury.
Immediately after the resumption of the game, the CSKA players organized a massive attack, but the first to open the account were the hostesses of the field. In the 15th minute, Irina Dricheva served from the corner, Milena Lyubimova won the position and struck with her head. Goalkeeper Valeria Makunkina deflected the ball in front of her, but Ekaterina Sergeeva was the first to finish off, who struck exactly under the crossbar – 1:0!
After scoring a goal, the advantage in the game went to Dynamo, although according to the statistics of possession of the ball, CSKA remained ahead. By the 22nd minute, the guests responded with a series of attacks, creating two moments in a row, but the final blows missed the target. In the 26th minute, Marina Achoyan tried to hit the far corner of the blue and white goal, but the ball again missed the target. By the end of half an hour of the game, the fight on the field had escalated, which resulted in a series of joints. In the 35th minute, CSKA had a chance to even the score when Valeria Menyailova went one-on-one with the goalkeeper, but Arina Taranchenko saved her team.
At the end of the half, the army club continued to operate through the standards, but dynamos could increase the gap in the score – in the 44th minute, Dricheva tried to throw Makunkina out of the gate, but the ball flew over the crossbar.
The second half of the meeting began with a reshuffle in the Dynamo lineup: Yana Nesterenko entered the field, replacing Milena Lyubimova. In the 50th minute, Maya Chizhevskaya scored a dangerous long-range shot, after which the ball passed a few centimeters above the goal frame. The pressure of CSKA finally brought the result in the 52nd minute, when Valeria Bylichkina regained her balance in one touch after Achoyan's transfer - 1:1.
The turning point in the game came in the 60th minute: chief referee Anna Tepaeva fixed the game with her hand in the penalty area from Anastasia Buchatskaya and awarded a penalty, which was realized by Elizaveta Danilova, who sent the ball to the bottom corner - 1:2. In an attempt to change the situation, the Dynamo coaching staff conducted a series of double substitutions: Tatyana Chetvertnykh, Alina Gagieva, Tatyana Semenova, Mariana Stepanova, Sofia Kolegova and Maria Zernikova.
Despite all Dynamo's attempts to recoup, an end was put to the game in the 89th minute. CSKA midfielder Camilla Girfanova, who came out for the second half, took advantage of Taranchenko's exit outside the penalty area and sent the ball into an empty net – 1:3 ...
— You should have scored your moments, then it would have been a little easier. There were approaches with the score 1:0, physically we are well prepared. Let's look at what exactly did not work out for us, somewhere we did not tactically figure out at the beginning what we were asking for. Then they corrected it, it got better, but they missed a goal," Oleg Gusev, the head coach of the Dynamo youth team, summed up the meeting.
Defender of the blue and white Mariana Stepanova also noted the intensity of the game:
— It was difficult to get into such a game. We were going to the same goal, we wanted to win, we had a good training cycle. I think we were a little unlucky today. In the second half, the attacking game was a bit difficult, because everyone was already tired. But we still did not give up and fought to the end.
Having lost to a direct competitor in the championship, Dynamo fell back to the third line of the standings, passing ahead of both its offender in the CSKA derby and Kazan Rubin. There is another equally important and probably intense derby ahead.
About the opponent, the history of the confrontation, the judging panel
The opponent of the blue and white in the 10th round, Spartak Moscow, is not just a historically important rival for the blue and white, but also another direct competitor of the Dynamo team in this season of the Youth League. Ivan Kvasov's wards are only two points away from Dynamo, taking fourth place in the standings. And only five points separate the red-whites from the leadership in the youth championship.
Having started the season with two victories, one of which became the second largest in the history of the Spartak youth team (7-0 over Rostov), the Muscovites then unexpectedly lost at home to Rubin Kazan (2:3). However, this did not prevent them from issuing a new, even more impressive winless streak, which amounted to 5 matches without defeats: 3 wins and 2 draws, including with CSKA (1:0) and Zenit (0:0).
It seemed that the way to the top 3 leaders was open, but an unexpected away defeat from Krasnodar (0:1) happened, leaving Spartak on the fourth line.
And here is a new chance to break into the coveted top three – now in the derby with Dynamo. Interestingly, this season both teams are going side by side not only in the Youth League standings, but also score synchronously – they have 19 goals scored in 9 games. But Spartak plays better defensively – 7 missed against 10 for the blue and white.
By the way, in the history of the confrontation, the capital's teams have absolute equality: 2 wins for Dynamo, 2 for Spartak, once the Muscovites played each other in a draw, the goal difference is 6-6! So last season they exchanged home victories: blue and white won in Novogorsk (2:1), red and white won in Sokolniki (0:1).
No less interesting is the rivalry between the two clubs on an individual level, and specifically in the Youth League goalscoring race. Right now, Spartak's top scorer is midfielder Yana Svistunova, who scored 7 goals in 7 matches, Dynamo's Eva Rabchenyuk, who scored 5 goals in 9 games. Unsurprisingly, both are in the top 5 of the league's top scorers.
But of those who used to score for Spartak, there are now three football players in Dynamo.: Angelina Golik, Daniella Petrova and Anastasia Kovaleva (all with 1 goal each). And if the first two will definitely not take part in the derby, then Kovaleva has every chance to upset the red and white in Novogorsk.
The new meeting of Spartak and Dynamo within the framework of the Youth League will be served by the refereeing team led by Daria Genega from Voronezh, who will be assisted by assistant referees Arina Konstantinova (Irkutsk) and Milana Vaskina (Cheboksary).
Earlier, Genega had already worked on Dynamo matches: in the Youth League – against Ryazan-Airborne Forces (1:0) and Chertanovo (2:1).
The balance of Dynamo wins and losses under the refereeing of Genega: 2 matches – 2 wins, the goal difference is 3-1.
