Team status
In the previous round, Maxim Zinoviev's wards played in Kazan against Rubin as part of the 1/8 finals of the Cup of Russia. The match in the capital of Tatarstan was held in very difficult weather conditions – in 30-degree heat, which is why the chief referee of the meeting, Kristina Dushkova, stopped the game in each of the halves so that the players could drink water and recuperate. It's like the World Championships in the USA, Canada and Mexico.
Despite such extreme weather, dynamovki started actively and already in the 3rd minute created the first dangerous moment: Kristina Komissarova hit the far corner of Violetta Isaikina's goal, but did not hit the target.
But already in the 8th minute the pressure of the blue and white brought the result. Komissarova covered the defender of Rubin in her penalty area, took the ball away and gave the pass back to Tatyana Danilochkina. She elegantly shot over the goalkeeper and opened the score – 1:0!
By the middle of the first half, the Muscovites had completely taken control of the ball, but the hostesses were not going to give up so easily either. In the 25th minute, Rubin responded with a dangerous lunge by captain Ksenia Alpatova – her shot went near the bar. In the return attack, Anastasia Shlapakova went one-on-one with the goalkeeper, but did not realize her chance. And soon the first substitution took place as part of Dynamo: in the 27th minute, instead of Milena Lyubimova, Isidora Vuchkovich entered the field.
In the 34th minute, the Kazan team won back. Maria Barvinok from the free kick sent the ball exactly into the net of Anastasia Ananyeva's goal — 1:1. At the end of the half, Dynamo could have taken the lead twice again. First, after Yulia Bessolova's shot, the ball hit the post, and Isaikina coped with the second shot.
The second half started with the attacks of our team. In the 52nd minute Anastasia Kovaleva scored a goal with a direct shot from the corner, spinning the ball into the far corner – 2:1! This standard was the result of Komissarova's solo pass a few seconds before the goal was taken.
In the 68th minute, Kovaleva almost repeated her trick from the corner, but this time the goalkeeper of Rubin knocked the ball out with her fist. However, the attack continued, and Dynamo scored the third goal. Bessolova gave a pass to the penalty area to Shlapakova, who beat the defender and threw the ball over the goalkeeper – 3:1!
In the 73rd minute, Rubin had a chance to close the gap in the score. Liana Yukhaeva broke through to the strike position, but under the pressure of Nadezhda Koltakova, she missed. In the final part of the match, the Kazan club tried to attack with the help of canopies and standards, but the Dynamo defense coped with these attempts.
Well, in the 88th minute, Irina Dricheva, who came on as a substitute, put an end to the match. She received a pass from the right flank, beat the goalkeeper and sent the ball into an empty net!
4:1 – and Dynamo goes to the quarterfinals of the Russian Cup, where Maxim Zinoviev's team is waiting for a derby against Spartak Moscow.
About the opponent
The next opponent of the blue and white is the Ryazan-Airborne Sports Complex, one of the oldest and most decorated clubs in Russian women's football. The Ryazan team is approaching the home match of the 13th round against Moscow Dynamo, having behind them the difficult distance of the championship and the recent success in the cup match.
In the offseason, Ryazan-Airborne retained the coaching staff headed by Natalia Karaseva and the backbone of the defense, including goalkeeper Maria Svidunovich. At the same time, the composition has undergone significant changes: the departure of the main scorer Tatyana Morina, who scored 14 goals last year, was designed to compensate for the transfer of Anna Dallakian and Tatyana Krasnova from Rostov, who had already performed in Ryazan earlier.
The start of the season in the Super League turned out to be turbulent for the "paratroopers". In the 1st round against Krasnodar, the team missed the fastest goal of the championship at the 55th second from Arina Kadigrob, which led to the final defeat of 0:4. In this game, a characteristic feature of the season manifested itself — Natalia Perepechina hit the crossbar from a free kick, and Svidunovich made a mistake on the way out.
The problem of early goals was repeated in the games with Lokomotiv and Chertanovo, where the rivals differed already in the 4th minute. Against Spartak (1:4), Ryazanki, on the contrary, scored with Krasnova's first efforts, but did not hold the advantage, again faced with the bad luck of Perepechina, whose shot again hit the frame of the gate.
The team scored the first points in the 3rd round in Kazan (0:0), where Maria Zhamanakova showed the best result in the round in the game at the exits. In the next, 4th, round, thanks to the goals of Veronika Anisina, Elvira Ziyastinova and Krasnova, the only victory in the championship at the moment was achieved - at home over Yenisei (3:1). However, this was followed by a protracted recession, which Ryazan women still cannot overcome – 7 matches without victories, in 5 of which they suffered defeats.
In matches with the leaders — CSKA and Zenit — Ryazan-Airborne acted as the second number, but kept the sharpness. Against the army club, Svidunovich repelled a one-on-one exit, and Krasnova and Perepechina acted dangerously in the attack, but Nikolic's goal in the 44th minute was decisive.
The team lost 0:3 to Zenit, missing a double from Nina Mateyich, while Violeta Slovic knocked the ball out of the goal line of Ryazan, and Dallakian hit the crossbar again. In Perm, against Zvezda-2005 (1:1), the paratroopers struck 13 blows in the first half, Perepechina once again hit the crossbar, and the goal was scored after pressure from Anastasia Olegina, which led to Eremenkova's own goal.
However, the Ryazan team is not in such a desperate state for the match with Dynamo, but at least in the status of a quarterfinalist of the Cup of Russia. Karaseva's team issued a pass to this stage last weekend in a match with Chertanovo (2:1), to which Ryazan had previously lost heavily in the Super League (1:4). You can say the revenge was a success.
In this match, Elena Zubkova and Natalia Perepechina scored 11 shots for two, and Anna Dallakian scored a double, scoring the winning goal in stoppage time. The key factors for Ryazan's success were the high activity of Elvira Ziyastinova on the flank and the focus of Zubkova on the gate.
Whether Ryazan-Airborne will transfer this mood to the final match of the first round with Dynamo, we will find out this Saturday.
