In the previous round, our team closed the first round of the Youth League in Moscow, but on the road – against the neighbors in the standings of the ZHFC CSKA. The teams were separated from each other by only one point, the dynamos had a chance to bypass the army club in case of victory, and therefore the derby promised to be hot. It turned out that way – literally. The start of the game (at 12:00 Moscow time) at the Salyut Heraklion stadium forced the teams to spend a lot of energy, first of all, in the fight against the heat. Nevertheless, even such difficult weather conditions did not prevent the players from showing an interesting match from the point of view of football.

At the beginning of the meeting, the teams showed an equal game, exchanging several blows, none of which posed any particular danger. But closer to the middle of the half, the initiative still passed to the owners of the field. They had some good moments, in which Dynamo goalkeeper Arina Taranchenko had to enter the game more and more often.

The army team created the most dangerous of them in the first half of the match in the 33rd minute: CSKA defender Maya Chizhevskaya broke into the Dynamo penalty area, went one-on–one with Taranchenko, struck and - only Arina's skill allowed the blue and white to avoid the missed ball!

The end of the half also took place under the pressure of the army football players, who could eventually leave for a break with an advantage in the score – if not for another save by Arina Taranchenko, who this time transferred the ball to the corner after a treacherous shot at her own goal.

And if the army team created at least two potentially scoring chances, then Dynamo definitely could not boast of such episodes in the first half. You can only single out a blowDaniella Petrova after a rebound in the 17th minute of the meeting, but even there the ball went above the goal. So the first half of the capital's derby, the blue and white could hardly bring themselves to the asset.

What can not be said about the second! Moreover, the most interesting events unfolded at its start. Firstly, during the break there was not the most obvious substitution in the composition of CSKA – instead of the main goalkeeper Anastasia Asabina, Anna Avilova came to the game. Secondly, in many ways it was this replacement that helped Dynamo open an account! At the 51st minute, the passVarvara Demidova on the left edge ended with a solid shot at the goal of CSKA, which Avilova, who had just come on as a substitute, repelled, but right on the leg of the one running inSvetlana Vinnikova. The blue and white striker just had to substitute her foot and send the ball into an empty net, which she easily did – 1:0 in favor of Dynamo!

After such an unexpected start to the second half, the stunned army women took a short break to recover, and then returned to their game – they took the ball back and continued to aggressively besiege the Dynamo penalty area and at the same time the gate of Arina Taranchenko, who stubbornly did not want to miss that day.

However, the army youth team not only continued to play their game, but also continued to hit the opponents' goal just as persistently and ineffectively. Only now, as before, the number of these strikes and approaches to the Dynamo gate did not translate into quality in any way.

As in the first half of the meeting, CSKA created the most dangerous moment in the middle of the half: in the 65th minute, substitute Valeria Menyailova was left alone in the Dynamo penalty area, but she could not break through our goalkeeper, sending the ball right into Taranchenko's hands.

Dynamo football players could, and should have, punished the hostesses of the field for such extravagance. In the 83rd minute, the same Vinnikova could have scored a double, but did not realize a one-on-one exit – this CSKA goalkeeper Anna Avilova played confidently.

However, the army women in the end did not show anything supernatural to make their rivals regret the missed opportunities. The blue and white defended their minimal advantage and achieved their second victory in a row.

The success achieved in the derby allowed the blue and white team not only to bypass CSKA in the standings, but also to catch up on points with Master Saturn, which is currently ranked third in the Youth League. The Moscow Region club is ahead of Dynamo only in personal meetings.

By the way, Oleg Gusev's team not only practically returned to the top three after the final match of the first round, but is already close to higher places. So, from the second line, which is now occupied by the Moscow "Locomotive", the team is separated by only two points, and from the first – four.

It is with the leader of the youth championship that the blue and white will have to fight next Sunday.

The opponent of the blue and white in the 12th round is the youth team of FC Krasnodar, the leader of the Youth League this season.

At the same time, the team led by Yevgeny Ptashnikov fought for the trophy last year. Then Krasnodar gave out just a crazy series from the start of the season: they won 9 victories and drew only once (by the way, with Dynamo away – 0:0), and only in the 11th match suffered their first defeat of the season - from the capital's Lokomotiv.

By the way, it was with the railway workers that the club from Krasnodar fought for the championship. The turning point in this championship race happened at the very end, when Ptashnikov's wards lost points in three matches in a row: they drew at home with the same Loko (1:1), lost away to Zenit and Spartak (both times 0:2). The victory in the final round over CSKA (2:0) no longer solved anything: the Muscovites became champions ahead of schedule, eventually beating Krasnodar by a solid 10 points. Well, Krasnodar, despite the missed championship, achieved their best result in history – they won silver medals of the Youth League.

This season, Krasnodar is again fighting for the gold of the youth championship. Only now, in addition to the same Lokomotiv, other clubs are actively participating in this struggle: "Master Saturn" from the Moscow region, the capital's Dynamo and CSKA, and Zenit and Spartak are too early to be discounted in the championship race-2025.

In the meantime, Krasnodar itself feels great this season: the team from the south of Russia already has 7 wins (the most in the league), 2 draws and only one defeat (like Lokomotiv). Accordingly, Krasnodar has 23 points and sole leadership in the Youth League standings, Loko is still two points behind the Southerners.

Unlike last season, Krasnodar suffered its first, and so far the only, defeat already in the 2nd round - at the end of April from the Moscow–based Master Saturn (0:1). Since then, the club has not lost: the winless streak is already 8 matches – 6 wins and 2 draws. CSKA (1:0) and Zenit (3:0!) are already among the losers, and Krasnodar played Spartak (0:0) and Lokomotiv (1:1) in a draw.

But that's not all. Right now, the Krasnodar team is showing the best defensive game – it has only 3 goals conceded in 10 matches! According to this indicator, Krasnodar is the best team by a huge margin, the closest pursuer Spartak missed 9 goals in the same 10 games.

So whatever one may say, it's just that our girls will definitely not be this Sunday. Both from the point of view of the game in attack, and from the point of view of their own game in defense. Moreover, in the first round in Krasnodar, the Dynamo youth team both missed and did not score. Then our girls lost minimally on the road in the 1st round - 0:1.

Another fact that is not the most pleasant for the blue and white team before the new match with Krasnodar is the history of personal meetings. Dynamo is still (since 2022) unable to win against the Krasnodar youth team: 4 defeats, 3 draws, a goal difference of 4-10. What else is seriously annoying is that Dynamo cannot score against Krasnodar for 4 matches in a row, no matter where the team plays: 0:0, 0:0, 0:1, 0:1…

The last time Dynamo players scored against Krasnodar in May 2023, then they lost 2:4 in Novogorsk, and Anastasia Orlova and Valeria Azeeva scored as part of the blue and white, and now they are playing for the Dynamo youth team.

So on August 3, our girls will get the fifth attempt to score a team from the south of the country and the eighth to beat it. We believe!

The upcoming meeting of Dynamo and Krasnodar in the Youth League, which this time will be held in Novogorsk, will be served by the referee team led by Kristina Varyanitsa (Sochi), who will be assisted by assistant referees Elena Polikarpova (Tambov) and Elena Krasnikova (Ruzaevka).

Previously, Varyanitsa has already worked on Dynamo matches in the Youth League: against Krylia Sovetov (1:1), Krasnodar (0:1), Rostov (3:3) and twice against Zenit (0:4 and 0:2).
