Dynamo head coach summed up the draw of the derby with Lokomotiv (1:1).
— We faced a very good opponent today, we understood that the team is well organized, knows how to control the ball, especially with quick attacks. It was obvious that the opponents had prepared some blanks for us: both on the way out of defense to attack, and from under our pressure. This confrontation was all the more interesting.
Of course, it was difficult, Lokomotiv created quite a lot of scoring episodes, including with quick attacks. We did not always act the way we should have acted, especially in the transitional phases and under pressure. We should have played tighter, more aggressively.
But in general, if we talk about the overall impression, I won't say that we outperformed the opponent in the game, but I will note that mentally our team is gradually becoming different. She is ready to fight and play to the end, believes in herself. This is the difference compared to the first round game. This was probably the most difficult moment of this season, which we have been working hard on – to find the very character that the team is showing now. It was largely thanks to him that we equalized the score in the end today.
