Dynamo and Lokomotiv drew in a fiery ending

The match against Lokomotiv started in a cautious manner. The hostesses of the field struck the first, but absolutely not dangerous for our goalkeeper Anastasia Ananyeva, already in the 5th minute, after which the teams began to slowly roll into the game. Dynamovki from the first minutes relied on standard positions, actively went into pressure and confidently owned the ball, trying to translate the game into the channel of positional attacks.

The fight on the field was tight. Already in the 12th minute, the main scorer of Loko, Nelly Korovkina, made a tough foul on Nadezhda Koltakova. The red-greens took the initiative, but the blue-whites competently built up their defenses, leaving no time for their rivals to make decisions, and repeatedly ran away to counterattack.

In the 20th minute Anastasia Shlapakova tried to effectively throw the goalkeeper of the railwaymen Margarita Shirokova, but the ball did not go into the net. Lokomotiv soon responded as well: Serbian striker Elena Chubrilo hit the crossbar, but before that she played along with her hand. Even if the shot turned out to be accurate, the main referee of the meeting, Anna Fedina, would hardly have counted this goal.

The end of the half, despite the good overall pace, passed without an abundance of sharp moments. Just before the break, the hostesses created a couple of half-moments, which Anastasia Ananyeva confidently coped with. The chief referee absolutely rightly did not add a minute to the first half.

The second half of the meeting began with the same game without a goal, but soon the situation on the field began to change. At the 51st minute, Polina Yuklyaeva got into an excellent strike position, but she shot too high. Soon Nelly Korovkina missed a one hundred percent chance: the attacker was on a penalty kick, but literally out of the blue stumbled and lost the ball. By the 60th minute, Lokomotiv began to look noticeably better, the game revived, and a flurry of attacks hit the Dynamo gate.

Anastasia Ananyeva created real miracles in the frame. In the 62nd minute, she watched Korovkina's dangerous long-range shot, and in the very next attack she brilliantly saved the team after another blow from Nelly. The railwaywomen pressed, creating moment after moment, but our goalkeeper helped out time after time. And yet, at the 65th minute, the hostesses achieved their goal. Yuklyaeva struck a solid blow, Ananyeva reacted, but Korovkina was the first to finish off, who opened the scoring in the match.

The Dynamo coaching staff promptly responded with replacements: Anna Sas came out instead of Tatyana Danilochkina, Milena Lyubimova replaced Isidora Vuchkovich, and Berivan Ichen replaced Kristina Komissarova. The blue and white needed to recoup, but there were no moments at someone else's gate. On the contrary, Lokomotiv literally sat down on our gates, shelling them from any distance. Dynamovki only fought back, staying in the game solely thanks to the super-reliable actions of Ananyeva, who continued to pick up the balls after the new strikes of the railwaywomen.

The turning point was outlined in the 85th minute, when Berivan Ichen, who came on as a substitute, struck tightly from afar. Goalkeeper "Loko" Shirokova hit the ball in front of her, but the defenders managed to back her up. And in the 90th minute, real football magic happened. The blue and white earned a penalty, Ichen came up to the ball and charged it into the post with a powerful blow. The ball successfully bounced right to Milena Lyubimova, who without hesitation hammered it into the very "nine" of the Lokomotiv goal – 1:1!

Three minutes were added to the main time of the match, but the score on the scoreboard did not change anymore. Dynamovki showed an amazing character, did not give up under the pressure of the opponent and saved the game by getting a draw, which by emotion can even be equated to victory.
