Dynamo and CSKA drew in a friendly match

The new opponent of Sergey Lavrentiev's team was the silver medalist of the Super League and the winner of the Russian Super Cup in the 2024 season - ZHFC CSKA.

The first half was held in an equal struggle and with almost no moments at the gates of both teams. Therefore, the main events unfolded in the second half.

Unlike the previous match with Antalyaspor (3:1), when the Dynamos played in half in different squads, in the game with CSKA, the blue and white coaching staff made substitutions during the match, or rather the second half. So, immediately after the break, Anastasia Shlapakova and Kaylan Williams appeared on the field, and then Maria Digurova, Elina Samoilova, Ekaterina Sergeeva and Elena Shesterneva joined the game. Of the players announced for the match, only goalkeeper Anastasia Shervyanina and field players Anastasia Kovaleva and Irina Dricheva remained on the bench.

By the way, it should also be noted that in the starting lineup of Dynamo, six blue-and-white newcomers came out to play with the army this offseason.

As for the game, in the second half our rivals had a noticeable advantage – they created at least 3-4 dangerous moments. Arina Taranchenko played great in each of them, and did not allow her to hit her own goal. But our girls can be identified only a couple of more or less acute moments at the army gate. At the beginning of the second half, Nastya Shlapakova had a great hit on the ball after the transfer of Kaylan Williams, but the CSKA goalkeeper rescued her team. And already at the end of the meeting, Maria Digurova could have distinguished herself during the counterattack after the submission of the same Williams, but this time the goalkeeper of CSKA played reliably.

As a result – a zero draw with a fairly equal game of white and blue with one of the leaders of the Super League.
