İçen Berivan was born in Istanbul, where she began playing football at the age of 5 under the guidance of her first coach, Dursun Tokgöz.
A product of Istanbul's Galatasaray, İçen left the club in 2016, which closed its women's football department, and moved to another team from Istanbul - Besiktas.
After spending three years there, Berivan moved to the Turkish Women's Second League club Akdeniz Nurçelik Spor, representing one of the Istanbul districts of Küçükçekmece. This move was fateful for the footballer - she scored 15 goals in 14 matches, which allowed Berivan to return to the already familiar Besiktas.
İçen's return to the Istanbul club was much more successful than her first arrival in the black and white camp. In her first season with Besiktas, Berivan not only made her debut in the Turkish Women's Premier League, but also scored her first goals. If Icen won silver medals in the championship with the team that season, then in the following 2020/21 season, the young footballer became the champion of Turkey as part of Besiktas. This victory gave the team a ticket to the UEFA Champions League in the 2021/22 season, in which Berivan played two matches.
In August 2023, İçen Berivan signed a contract with Beylerbeyi (Istanbul), which reached the Turkish Super League for the first time in its history that year. In its debut season in the top league, the team from the Istanbul district of Uskudar took 5th place, and Berivan played more than 20 championship matches for the first time in her career and scored two goals.
In 2017, İçen was called up to the Turkish women's national U17 football team and made her debut in a friendly match against the Russian national team (1:1). In total, Berivan played 25 matches for the Turkish U17 team and scored a total of 12 goals. At the same time, the Turkish woman played for her country's youth team: for the U19 team, she scored 6 goals in 8 matches and was its captain.
In September 2020, İçen Berivan was called up to the adult Turkish national team, for which she made her debut at the same time - in the qualifying match for the 2021 Women's European Championship against Slovenia (1:3), becoming the youngest debutant of the national team.
Player of the WFC Dynamo since March 2025.
