Valeria Azeeva and Maria Leontieva have retired

Football players of the Dynamo youth team decided to stop performing at a professional level and focus on getting an education.

Midfielder Valeria Azeeva joined our team in the summer of 2022 and in the same season won silver medals of the Youth League with white and blue. The pupil of the Chertanovo football academy continued to play for the Dynamo youth team until 2025, in which she again became the silver medalist of the youth championship, and Valeria herself became the main player of the youth team.

Azeeva was also involved in working with the main team of Dynamo, but she could not make her debut for her at the highest level. In total, she played 69 matches for the blue and white youth team, in which she scored three goals and made four assists.

Valeria started this season in her native Chertanovo, where she went for playing practice on loan from Dynamo. Azeeva managed to play 6 matches for the capital's team (2 in the Super League, 4 in the Youth League), the 20-year-old footballer played her last match at the professional level on May 24 as part of the 5th round of the Youth League against Krasnodar (1:1).

Goalkeeper Maria Leontieva joined the Dynamo youth team in 2023. A native of Cheboksary and a pupil of Chuvash football, she played 21 matches for the blue and white in the Youth League, in 9 of which she left her gates intact.

In the 2024 season, Leontieva was included in the application of the main team of the Dynamo Housing and Communal Complex for the Super League, and in the 205 season, Maria, like Valeria Azeeva, became the silver medalist of the Youth League. Leontieva played her last official match on May 18 as part of the 4th round of the Youth League against Krylia Sovetov (2:1).

We thank Valeria and Maria for the time spent in our club, dedication, honest and responsible attitude.

We wish them success and good luck in their future professional activities!
