On Friday, Dynamo coach Sergei Lapshin turns 51.
Sergey Ivanovich graduated from the Moscow State Academy of Physical Culture (MGAFK), and began his coaching career at FC Strogino-2 (team born in 2001), where in 2010-2012 he held the position of head coach.
From 2013 to 2015 he worked as an assistant head coach at FC Strogino (PFL and youth team), and since 2016 – only as a head coach: in the Moscow teams Veles (2016-2018), Megasphere (born in 2004, born in 2009 – 2019-2023, 2024-2025), as well as in "Peresvet" from Domodedovo near Moscow (2023).
During the 2025 season Lapshin joined the coaching staff of Alexander Katasonov, who headed the main team of the Housing and Communal Complex "Dynamo" after the departure of Sergei Lavrentiev.
