
On Saturday, the head coach of the youth team of the Dynamo Football Club, Mikhail Kobyakov, turns 46 years old.
Mikhail was born in Makhachkala, where he began his football career. He played for the teams “Znamya Truda” and “Spartak-Orekhovo” (both Orekhovo-Zuevo), “Slavyansk” (Slavyansk-on-Kuban), “Avtomobilist” (Noginsk). At the age of 25, he switched to coaching at the Elektrogorsk Youth Sports School in the Moscow Region, then at the Noginsk SShOR. Over the years of coaching in children's and youth teams, he became a multiple winner and prize-winner of the Moscow region championships.
In 2010, he organized the Znamya football club in Noginsk, where he worked as head coach until 2020, and from 2020 to 2023 he served as sports director. In 2019, the club became professional and received the right to participate in the Professional Football League (PFL). Since January 2023, he worked at Dynamo as a goalkeeping coach for the Dynamo U-21 youth team, and in September of the same year he replaced Valentina Barkova as head coach.
