On Friday, Dynamo WFC midfielder and captain Yulia Bessolova celebrates her birthday.
Yulia was born in Izhevsk, where she began her football career under the guidance of her first coach, Farit Galeev, as part of Izhevsk's Zhemchuzhina.
At the age of 15, Bessolova moved to Voronezh's Energia, for which she made her debut in the top league of Russian women's football. Then there was Moscow's CSP Izmailovo, where Yulia scored her first goal at the highest level, and, of course, WFC Chertanovo, where the footballer spent most of her career. Here, the footballer played 9 seasons, won silver and bronze medals in Russian championships, and reached the final of the Russian Cup.
In 2013, Bessolova made her debut in the Russian national team, for which she played a total of 10 matches.
Since January 2024, Yulia Bessolova has been a player of Moscow Dynamo and captain of the main team in the 2024 season. She has already been recognized as the best player of the month twice (in April and June), and her goal against Krylia Sovetov (3:1) was named the best goal of the month by Dynamo fans based on the voting results in April.
