On Wednesday, Alexander Zayakin, assistant head coach of the Dynamo youth football team, celebrates his birthday.
After the end of his playing career, Alexander Vladimirovich took up coaching. He started with youth football, spent several years in Khimki near Moscow, and since 2020 has been working in women's football.
In the 2022 season, the youth team of Lokomotiv Housing and Communal Services under his leadership became the champion of the Youth League. More than 30 pupils of Zayakin play for Super League clubs, Youth League and Russian national teams of different ages.
Having joined the coaching staff of the Dynamo youth team under the leadership of Oleg Gusev as an assistant coach before the start of the 2025 season, Zayakin helped the blue and white to achieve great success – to win silver medals of the Youth League.
