On Saturday, March 8, 2025, the match of the 1st round of the Winline Super League among women's teams between Dynamo Moscow and Rostov will take place at the VTB UTB Novogorsk-Dynamo stadium.

The composition of participants and features of the tournament
In the new championship, as in the past, 13 teams will take part:
– Dynamo, Lokomotiv, Spartak, CSKA, Chertanovo (all from Moscow)

As in 2024, in the 2025 season, 13 teams will hold a smooth two-round tournament with away and home games, a total of 24 matches each. The 1st round is scheduled for March 8-9, the season will finish in early November.
During the season, there are pauses for training camps and games of national teams, as well as for holding matches of the Cup of Russia.

Recall that the current champion of the Winline Super League is Zenit St. Petersburg, silver and bronze medalists are CSKA Moscow and Spartak, respectively.
The winner of the Winline Cup of Russia-2024 is Lokomotiv Moscow, the Russian Super Cup-2024 is also the football players of the capital CSKA.
Team status
The team started preparing for the new season on January 10, when the players came out of vacation and underwent an in-depth medical examination.
After that, the blue and white team went to Turkey, where they held a training camp. Sergei Lavrentiev's team held a series of friendly matches there.

The best scorer of the winter offseason was the captain of the team Yulia Bessolova – 2 goals, Kaylan Williams, Ekaterina Sergeeva, Elena Shesterneva and Daniela Basaeva scored the ball.
But the best assistant was the newcomer of the team this offseason – Anastasia Shlapakova, who has 2 assists, Elena Shesterneva, Isidora Vuchkovich and Daniela Basaeva also made one assist each.

There have been changes in the coaching and medical staffs of the main Dynamo team: assistant head coach Taras Pavlyukevich, goalkeeper coach Vitaly Shadrin, who joined the youth team and the Academy of the Dynamo Housing and Communal Services, chief physician Dmitry Mirolevich and massage therapist left the team. Sergey Lavrentiev's updated coaching staff includes senior coach Alexander Katasonov, assistant head coach Rafael Kadyrmaev and goalkeeping coach Nikita Smirnov. A new medical staff of the Dynamo Housing and Communal Services team was also formed: it included chief physician Igor Belyakov, massage therapists Roman Mordvintsev and Alexander Budyka.
This offseason was not without losses. So, a large group of players left the blue and white, including the leaders of the team last season:
– after the expiration of contracts – defender Aleksandra Nesterovich, midfielders Tiyana Matic and Taisiya Razvorotneva
– on loan – defender Jose-Diana Pamen Tchato, midfielders Ksenia Kuzishchina and Anastasia Pervushina (all - Zvezda-2005), midfielders Liana Kotelnikova (Chertanovo), Galina Geibieva (Yenisei) and Lamunat Mustafaeva (Ryazan-Airborne)
– defenders Svetlana Eliseeva, Tanya Malesia and Ksenia Kubichnaya have moved to other clubs
– Alina Chistyakova has finished her career and joined the Dynamo coaching staff
The busy off-season has come to an end, and the team is ready to start its third season in the Winline Super League.
Let us remind you that in the 2024 season, Dynamo took 5th place in the Super League, and in the Russian Cup it reached the 1/4 finals.

About the opponent
FC Rostov, the first opponent of the blue and white in the new season, like our club in the last two months, was actively preparing for the start of the championship. However, unlike Dynamo, who left cold and not very snowy Moscow for training camps in Turkey, the team from the south of Russia spent the entire preparatory period at home in Rostov-on-Don.
Another difference between the Rostov team and Dynamo is that the wards of 35–year-old Yana Chub did not hold a single friendly meeting this offseason, limiting themselves to training and bilateral games. The yellow-blue head coach herself spoke about the team's ambitions and preparations for the season:
— Now everyone is in optimal condition, and what is especially pleasing is that there were no injuries. We are laying the groundwork for the upcoming season and have already done a lot of work. I am very pleased with the team. At the end of the season, we analyzed all the matches and identified the moments that we need to tighten up. In general, we worked on all components.
It is important for us to continue to trust the young players and give them as many chances as possible to prove themselves this season. The team will play with discipline. We have a fighting spirit, and we are ready to fight in every match to the end.
And if the Rostov women did not have pre-season matches this winter, then the team still could not do without transfers. And both at the entrance and at the exit. By the way, Rostov has more losses than acquisitions.
So, in winter Marina Kachmazova, Kristina Osmolovskaya, Nadezhda Koltakova (Dynamo), Asya Turieva (Krylia Sovetov) left the team, and Elena Kostareva (Krasnodar) and Oksana Pizlova (Rubin) joined the team. It has already been said about Nadezhda Koltakova, she became a Dynamo Moscow football player, but Asi Turieva's departure to Samara Wings is a real loss for Rostov: the 32–year-old Russian has been the leader and captain of the Rostov team for the past four years, has played almost 100 matches for the yellow-blue. Whether the newcomers who came in the offseason will replace her is a big question.
The club from the south of Russia was formed four years ago, in December 2020, on the basis of the Rostov men's football club and immediately began playing in the Super League. The best result of FC Rostov in the championship is 4th place (2022), in the Cup of Russia – 1/4 finals (2022, 2023).
Last season, the wards of first Igor Gavrilin, and then Yana Chub, who replaced him, took 8th place in the Super League (7 wins, 2 draws, 15 defeats, goal difference 21-36) and reached the 1/8 finals of the Winline Cup of Russia.
