Team status
In the previous round, the wards of Alexander Katasonov did not hold an ordinary match at all. Firstly, it was a derby with Lokomotiv, and secondly, it was held at the main stadium of the capital's club – RZD Arena. Last season, the railwaywomen also hosted the blue and white in their big arena and won then with a score of 3:1. This time the game in Cherkizovo turned out quite differently.
Dynamo football players started the meeting more actively, and in general, during the game they looked fresher than their rivals. Which is not surprising: if Dynamo held its last official match back on May 23, then Lokomotiv, a week before the meeting with our team, fought with Zenit St. Petersburg for the first trophy of the season – the Winline Russian Super Cup. And he lost (0:3), which, of course, did not add to the mood of Elena Fomina's team.
Dynamovka could open an account already in the first minutes of the meeting and a football player, from whom this was least expected, could do it. The Dynamo central defender Nadezhda Koltakova came to the Loko penalty area in the standard position and almost sent the ball into the red-green goal after a perfect free kick by Elena Shestineva – the ball missed centimeters from the bar. A few minutes later, Anastasia Shlapakova could try on the role of a goalie, who ran away to the counterattack – but her shot did not reach the goal either, the bar saved Loko.
Finally, on the third attempt, our team still managed to score - though not without the help of rivals. Dynamo striker Anastasia Kovaleva first took advantage of a gross mistake in the transfer of the defender of "Loko" Alexandra Lazarevich, and then the uncertain game of the goalkeeper of the railwaymen Tatyana Shcherbak and hit the already empty gate – 0:1.
In general, we can safely say that the team led by Alexander Katasonov held one of their best matches this season in this round. Neither in the first nor in the second half did the rivals of the blue and white have any particularly bright opportunities to recoup so.
But our girls had such chances, and even what! The rod at the Gear, Kovaleva's canopy on Kaylan Williams, which was just not enough to send the ball with her head into the goal, and finally, two clean one-on-one exits by Kristina Komissarova, who could not beat the Lokomotiv goalkeeper. In the end, it was Tatyana Shcherbak's selfless game that saved the railwaywomen from defeat, an amazing score of 1:0 for such a game has not changed.
Well, for Dynamo, this victory was the first over Lokomotiv in away matches and allowed the blue and white to slightly reduce the gap from the top three, which our team still does not intend to refuse to fight for.

Ryazan-Airborne Forces, which is still headed by Natalia Karaseva, started this season with three consecutive away defeats - expected from CSKA (0:4) and Zenit (1:2) and sensational from Krylia Sovetov (0:1). Ryazan women won their first victory in the 4th round - and again they beat Krasnoyarsk Yenisei on a visit.
