In the previous round, the blue and white took on the Rostov Housing and Communal Services in Novogorsk, which seemed to be an outsider at the start of the new season of the Youth League, but contrary to expectations, the game was not easy for our team.

Firstly, the blue and white held it without their captain Daniella Petrova, who was serving a disqualification for removal in the last round with Ryazan-Airborne Forces. Varvara Demidova brought the team with the captain's armband to the match with the Rostov women.

Secondly, despite the fact that dynamovki took the initiative from the first minutes, the Rostov women withstood the initial onslaught. At the 15th minute, the hostesses of the field still began to justify their status as a favorite: after Dana Dobrovitskaya's pass and ricochet, the ball bounced to Milena Lyubimova, who coolly opened the account. It is noteworthy that just a few hours earlier Lyubimova managed to play half an hour for the main team, unlike Demidova, who never entered the field.

Seven minutes later, the persistent Lyubimova literally knocked the ball out of the hands of the goalkeeper of the guests and scored a double – 2:0! The score could have been bigger, but Milena did not realize a killer chance for a hat-trick — the goalkeeper of Rostov saved her team. It seemed that the game was done, but the guests were not going to give up. In the 25th minute, the referee pointed to a point in the Dynamo penalty area, and Ksenia Prikhodko confidently converted a penalty. At the break, the blue and white left with a minimum handicap.

Despite the fact that the second half started with the advantage of Dynamo, the intrigue not only did not fade, but also flared up with renewed vigor. The blue and white coaching staff made a double substitution during the break, removing the author of the double from the field, among others. And already in the 52nd minute, an unexpected goal by Valeria Shulga after a corner restored the balance - 2:2. Such a turn made Dynamo rush to attack, which forced Rostov, in turn, to sit deep on the defensive.

The denouement of this thriller came in the final twenty minutes. In the 72nd minute, after Dobrovitskaya's overhang, the ball hit the crossbar, bounced into the field, and Varvara Demidova's shot hit the post! The first on the selection was Yana Nesterenko, who had come out shortly before to replace her, who drove the ball into the net. Dana Dobrovitskaya put an end to the match, realized a penalty in the 88th minute and set the final score — 4:2.

— Even with the score 2:0, there was a feeling that we were not working hard enough. Unfortunately, we came out badly after the break, we can say we didn't leave the locker room at all. But we also need such victories!

We have a new team, a lot of young people who have to go through this. It builds character. We know the abilities of our girls, so we give everyone as much as possible to play so that they develop," Oleg Gusev, the head coach of the Dynamo youth football team, commented on the results of such a dramatic match.

Dynamo defender Kristina Kubatkina also shared her emotions from the game:

— The game turned out to be difficult, the opponent is fighting, but even after conceding two goals, when Rostov equalized, we did not think about the fact that we would not win today. Nevertheless, we still have a lot to work on.

The third victory in a row brought the Dynamo youth team to the top of the standings, which it now shares with two clubs – Zenit and Krasnodar. Ahead is another meeting with an outsider of the league, after which the blue and white can lead the table alone.

The opponent of the blue and white in the 4th round will be the youth team of the Krylia Sovetov Housing and Communal Complex - the outsider of the previous and current seasons. In 2025, the Samara club took the penultimate, 10th place in the Youth League Division 1 standings.

The wards of Maria Cherepanova scored only 10 points, winning two victories and drawing four times. They also took the penultimate place in terms of goals scored and goals conceded – 19-72, only Rostov was worse, finishing the season on the last line of the table.

The Moscow Dynamo also did not experience any special problems in the games with the Wings – in the first round the blue and white won in Samara 4:2, in the return meeting they defeated in Novogorsk 4:0.

This year, the team led by Galina Komarova, who again headed the Samara youth team, is also not doing very well. Three defeats at the start of the season – from CSKA (1:4), Spartak (1:2) and Krasnodar (0:1) – again pushed Krylia to the end of the standings, where they are ahead of the same Rostov, as well as Perm Zvezda-2005 only by the difference between scored and missed. All three have 0 points.

But, unlike their "colleagues in misfortune", the Samaritans still do not miss so much – except for the defeat in the first round from CSKA, in the following matches they conceded with a minimum score. Which, for sure, gives hope to the Volga women who come to Novogorsk this Monday.

By the way, what exactly does not give the guests hope is the history of personal meetings between Dynamo and Wings of the Soviets. Here the Muscovites have an undeniable advantage: in 8 Youth League matches played, the blue and white won 5 victories, drew 3 times. They have already said about the victory with a score of 4:0 last season, but there was also a super-successful game in August 2023, when the Dynamo team did not leave a stone unturned from Samara – 9:0!

If we count from 2022, when Dynamo and Krylia began their performances in the Youth League, the Volga club has not been able to beat Moscow for four seasons in a row.

Perhaps the former Dynamo football players who are now playing for Samara will help to interrupt the most unpleasant series: 17-year-old goalkeeper Varvara Valetto, who played in 2024-2025 for the Dynamo U-18 team in the SFL-Girls and even got into the application of the youth team, and 17-year-old striker Irina Kozinets, also an ex-Dynamo player." U-18 in the SFL in 2025. And if Varvara has not even made her debut for Krylia yet, then Irina has played all three matches of the Volga women this season, but has not yet been able to distinguish herself.

There is an ex-player of "Wings" and in "Dynamo", however, now playing for the main team of the blue and white. A native of Samara, Anna Chudilina played for the Samara club for three seasons and won bronze medals of the Youth League with him. Last season, Anna became the vice-champion of the youth championship already as part of Dynamo, and since then she has been steadily entering the center of defense of the main team. Just a week ago, she played the entire match against her former club in the Super League.

Her appearance in the Dynamo youth team on May 18 is also possible. According to the regulations, 20-year-old Chudilina has the right to play in the Youth League-2026.
