Team status
In the previous match, the blue and white team went to Sokolniki in the capital to meet with one of the contenders for the championship - Spartak Moscow.
From the first minutes, a tight fight ensued on the field, and the teams quickly exchanged moments: already in the 5th minute of the Spartacus, they executed a penalty, which fell exactly into the hands of Dynamo goalkeeper Arina Taranchenko, and a little later Violetta Kahramanzade struck the defender. The blue and white responded in the 12th minute with their standard, but also without sharpness.
In the future, the first half was held in an equal struggle without the territorial advantage of one of the teams, while the opponents often fouled and played a lot through the standards. In the 39th minute, Dynamo striker Eva Rabchenyuk received a yellow card, which is why she will now miss the next match with Krasnodar. Before the break, Spartak organized pressure on our goal, and in the 44th minute, Kahramanzade, left without care, struck with a rebound from the lawn directly into Taranchenko's hands.
The second half started actively, and in the 50th minute Daniella Petrova launched an attack with a shot into the near corner, which was handled by the home goalkeeper Angelina Shirochenko. Dynamovki increased the pressure, and in the 58th minute there was a goal: Petrova gave a pass from the right flank to Daria Guskova, who put the ball into the corner of the goal with a perfect shot – 1:0!
Having missed the ball, the Spartacists rushed to recoup. In the 60th minute, Tatyana Chetvertnykh, at the cost of a yellow card, stopped Kahramanzade's breakthrough, and in the 61st minute, Anastasia Kolokolchikova, after giving a free kick, hit the post, from which the ball bounced into Taranchenko's hands!
By the middle of the second half, the game was on a collision course. Dynamo performed the standards well: in the 76th minute Ekaterina Sergeeva struck past the target, and in the 79th minute inaccurately struck Petrov. Alisa Klimova received another yellow card – now she will also miss the next round.
As expected, the ending turned out to be tense: in the 90th minute, the bar again saved Dynamo after Kakhramanzade's strike, and in the 90+3rd minute, Spartak goalkeeper Shirochenko, who came to the standard draw, struck twice at the goal, but Taranchenko rescued the team!
The final whistle recorded a difficult victory of Dynamo in the derby – 1:0!
— Somewhere today we endured, sat down in the middle and low block, waiting for mistakes from Spartak. We understood that the opponent has individually strong players who need to be closed, which is why we played especially carefully in defense. There were moments in the second half when they could have scored more. We tried not to fall too low when leaving the middle block, while, if possible, running away in quick attacks.
During the break, I told the team to play football. We want the girls to play football, so we told them to control the ball more, not to lose it in unnecessary situations, to take away the unforced losses. And they fulfilled this instruction, more moments began to appear, thanks to this they got this victory," after the match, acting head coach of the Dynamo youth team Alexander Zayakin summed up the meeting.
Midfielder and captain of Dynamo Daniella Petrova also commented on the winning derby:
— The team had two different halves. In the first half, we didn't seem to have gathered, we were afraid of something, took the initiative in the first ten minutes, and then for some reason decided to give it away.
In the second half, we remembered that we had nothing to lose in the standings, and we started playing our own football. A lot of things didn't work out, but still we showed something, and that was enough to win.
The victory in the principle derby brought Dynamo closer to the top three, now the gap from Moscow Lokomotiv, which is now in third place, is five points. Theoretically, our team still has chances even for the championship – seven points separate the blue and white from the first place.
Everything will be decided in the final three rounds, in which the Dynamo team will play with Krasnodar and Zvezda-2005 (away), as well as at home with Lokomotiv. We believe in the team!
About the opponent, the history of the confrontation, the judging panel
The opponent of the blue and white in the 24th round will be FC Krasnodar, the neighbor of Moscow Dynamo in the standings. The teams occupying the 6th and 7th places in the standings are separated by only three points. Interestingly, the Moscow and Krasnodar clubs finished last season as neighbors. However, then they settled in the top three – Dynamo took silver, Krasnodar received bronze.
This season, the teams are still far from such successes – they are separated from third place by five and eight points, respectively. However, both can reach the medals. The funny thing is that both have almost identical finishes, if we talk about rivals: Dynamo, after Krasnodar, will play away with Zvezda 2005 and at home with Lokomotiv, Krasnodar will play away with the same Lokomotiv and at home with Yenisei.
Until recently, the series of defeats of the Krasnodar team was three matches and lasted almost a month, but the opponents there were also like a selection: Zenit (0:1), CSKA (1:2), Spartak (0:1). At least by the score, the team led by Yevgeny Ptashnikov looked decent. Well, in the last round, Krasnodar completely broke away in full – they defeated the Perm Zvezda-2005 (6:0) and are in a good mood for a home meeting with Dynamo.
Moreover, there is a scorer in the ranks of Southerners – Anastasia Karataeva – who is in the top 5 best snipers of the season. The 19-year-old Krasnodar striker has scored 13 goals in just 10 matches played, just two less than Dynamo's main scorer Eva Rabchenyuk. Interestingly, immediately after Karataeva in the list of goalkeepers of Krasnodar, there are three football players who scored 7 goals each: midfielders Alina Godyna and Sofia Denisko, as well as defender Nika Eremina.
Surprisingly, Krasnodar is one of the most uncomfortable teams for Dynamo Moscow. In the history of personal meetings between the two clubs, there have already been 9 official matches, and only one had stronger dynamics. In the rest, the balance is not at all in favor of the blue and white: 4 draws, 4 defeats, a goal difference of 6-11. By the way, the only victory was won by Dynamo on the home field, while on the road the maximum that the Muscovites achieved was two not the most productive draws (0:0 and 1:1).
And here is a new meeting – and a new chance for our team to interrupt the unsuccessful series of away games in Krasnodar and win the first victory in the south of the country.
Anniversary, the tenth in the history of the confrontation between Krasnodar and Dynamo, the match in the framework of the Youth League will be served by the referee team led by Andrei Zhovtonog, who will be assisted by assistant referees Natalia Baeva (both from Rostov–on-Don) and Anastasia Tsvetkova (Mines).
Previously, Zhovtonog did not work as a chief referee at Dynamo matches.
