The blue and white in the first official match of the year hosted the 8th team of the previous season in their home Novogorsk - JFC Rostov. Yana Chub's wards did not play a single friendly match in the winter off–season, which is not surprising - the Rostov women were preparing for the new season in their hometown.

And therefore, apart from the two-sides at home training camps, the away game with Dynamo was the first for Rostov in 2025. And immediately official – within the framework of the Winline Super League.

Was it a consequence of this format of Rostov's preparation for the season, but the Dynamos started their starting home match ... with a quick goal. Already in the 14th minute of the meeting, blue and white midfielder Elina Samoilova closed a shot from the right flank from Anna Sas at the far post and opened the scoring not only in the match, but also the score of Dynamo goals in the 2025 season. It is noteworthy that Elina became the author of the debut goal of our team for the second year in a row: in 2024, she also opened the account from the penalty spot in the first match with Krasnodar.

We must pay tribute to the guests – they answered quickly: in the 20th minute, Tatyana Krasnova equalized the score with a long-range shot from outside the penalty area, Arina Taranchenko, who defended the Dynamo goal, was powerless at the moment.

But then the game finally and irrevocably went according to the scenario of the blue and white. Even before the break, they took the lead again – Kaylan Williams scored again after the Cac submission, in fact, repeating Samoilova's first goal one in one. And in the second half, the same Samoilova and Williams (+ Daniela Basaeva's assist) brought the matter to a confident victory and a beautiful score on the Novogorsk scoreboard – 4:1.

However, it was not without a little extreme at the very end of the meeting – with the score 4:1 in favor of Dynamo, the defender of the blue and white Maria Digurova received a direct red card for the "foul of the last hope", who came on as a substitute 10 minutes before. It is clear that this could no longer affect the game and the final result, but our defender will miss the away meeting in Krasnodar.

FC Krasnodar, the opponent of the blue and white in the first away match of the season, like our club, also held its training camps in Turkey, where it played six friendly matches, all with Winline Super League clubs:

The balance of victories and defeats was not at all positive: 0+ / 5- / 1=, the goal difference is 6-14. But everyone understands perfectly well that pre-season matches, and especially their results, say little about anything and have no connection with official matches. Which, by the way, was confirmed by the first official game of Krasnodar in the season, but about it a little later.

But from the point of view of the composition of Krasnodar, unlike Dynamo, practically did not change in the off-season. Rather, it changed unilaterally – all transfers of the club were on the way out. Goalkeeper Kristina Alyoshina (FC Minsk), defender Anna Desyatnik, midfielder Maria Barvinok (Rubin), forwards Elena Kostareva (Rostov) and Daniela Basaeva (Dynamo) left the team.

But there were no acquisitions from the Krasnodar club this winter. As, however, they did not happen before the start of the 2024 season, which did not prevent Krasnodar under the leadership of head coach Gamal Babaev from looking quite decent: they took the final 7th place in the Super League (8 wins, 4 draws, 12 defeats, goal difference 23-34) and reached the semi-finals of the Winline Cup of Russia, where following the results of two matches, they lost to ZHFC CSKA.

So the season-2025 "citizens" began with a bright strong–willed victory - over the Perm "Star-2005" on the home field. Having missed the first ones already in the 14th minute, the Krasnodar football players quickly recovered, and in the second half they turned the game around and snatched the victory, scoring two goals within 8 minutes. The authors of the goals were Milena Boldyreva, Karina Samoylenko and Medea Zharkova.

Krasnodar is one of the five teams that won the opening match of the season, along with Spartak, CSKA, Dynamo and Chertanovo. The upcoming match against Dynamo looks all the more interesting, with which the club from the south of Russia has a very difficult relationship: so far, Krasnodar cannot beat the blue and white, but even score at least one goal for them.

The top scorer of the confrontation is Kaylan Williams (2 goals).

– Elena Shesterneva (2016-2019: 42 matches, 7 goals, 1 assist) and Elina Samoilova (2011-2017: 82 matches, 1 goal) played for Kubanochka, on the basis of which Krasnodar Housing and Communal Services was formed at the beginning of 2020.

In addition, Samoilova is a native of Krasnodar and a pupil of Krasnodar football. The Dynamo midfielder started playing football in SDYUSSHOR No. 1 in Gulkevichi, Krasnodar Territory, and from the age of 14 she played for the youth team of Krasnodar Kubanochka.

Daniela Basaeva (2017-2024: 153 matches, 32 goals + 10 assists, 22 yellow cards + 1 red card) also played for Kubanochka for three years, and then after its transformation into FC Krasnodar spent 5 seasons for the Krasnodar club, becoming the team's record holder both in the number of matches and in scoring balls.
