Team status
In the previous round of the Youth League, the blue and white team went to Samara, a city where Dynamo's youth team had never won before in the framework of the tournament. It so happened that all previous visits of the capital's team to the banks of the Volga River ended in peaceful outcomes: in 2022 (the year Dynamo debuted and won silver medals of the Youth League) – 0:0, in 2023 - 1:1, in 2024 - 2:2. Following this logic. it was possible to assume a super-successful draw with a score of 3:3 in 2025, but such a scenario would look quite out of the category of fiction.
Although there were really a lot of goals this time and, surprisingly, the audience saw exactly six goals in this game. As if by order, however, with one nuance – they were distributed differently.
The fans saw four of these six goals already in the first half. And although the debut of the meeting with the blue and white did not go well, as they missed already in the 2nd minute, less than 10 minutes later, the score became equal - the Dynamo score was opened by Ekaterina Sergeeva.
Samara football players were not cooled down by such a quick win – they made their second scoring attack in the 17th minute, the Wings midfielder Maria Stepasheva made a double. It took a little more time for Dynamo to win back the second missed goal. But how effectively they did it! In the time added to the first half, Svetlana Vinnikova again made the score equal, and immediately after the break, Dynamo took the lead for the first time in the match! Another and, as it turned out, the winning ball is on the billAnastasia Kovaleva is the most tireless Dynamo football player this season, who manages to play for both the main and the youth teams of the blue and white.
Despite the good opportunities to strengthen their advantage, which the Dynamo team really owned throughout almost the entire second half, the intrigue lasted almost until the final whistle. Only on the 4th minute added to the main time, Dynamo striker Maria Zernikova, from Anastasia Orlova's transfer, put a spectacular point in the match and recorded the first victory in the history of the youth team in Samara!
But our youth team did not limit itself to a historical achievement on this day. Firstly, she extended her winning streak in the championship to three matches in a row, in which she scored 15 (!) balls. Secondly, the historic victory on the banks of the Volga allowed the young Dynamo to match points with Lokomotiv and Krasnodar (9 each), and therefore share the first three lines of the Youth League standings. Under certain conditions, Dynamo can claim leadership in the youth championship table in the next round.
— We warned the girls that it would be a difficult, even difficult departure, and asked them to keep their concentration from the very first minutes and support each other. But somewhere we were not heard, there was also excitement among the girls. Because of this, we failed to get started, but then we entered the game.
During the break, we supported the girls to calm down a little, because it was clear from the game that we were playing with an advantage and sooner or later we would fix the situation. The team has good football players, which ultimately affected the result," Oleg Gusev, the head coach of the Dynamo youth team, shared his impressions of the match.
However, it makes no sense to think about some local achievements when the whole season is ahead. If only because, starting from the next round, the blue and white will face a real test of strength: there are three matches in a row ahead with the contenders for the highest places – Spartak, Zenit and Lokomotiv. It is in these games that Dynamo's ambitions will become clear this season.

About the opponent and his ambitions, the history of the confrontation and Orlova's goals, the judging panel
The opponent of the blue and white in the 5th round is Spartak Moscow, a club that has already managed to make noise in the Youth League last season. Actually, in 2024, he made his debut in it and, like the main team in the Super League, immediately joined the fight, if not for the championship, then for medals for sure.
However, unlike their main team, the Spartak youth team still did not reach the medals. The reason for this was the uneven performance of Ivan Kvasov's wards in the second half of the season, where they alternated bright victories, for example, twice over Zenit, with loud defeats (defeats from CSKA, Krasnodar, Loko) and unexpected draws (with Rubin, Rostov, and withDynamo" too). As a result, Spartak finished its first season in the Youth League only in 5th place, 12 points behind the bronze Zenit, and a giant 24 points behind the champion Lokomotiv!
You can't call the start of the new season successful for the red-whites either: only one, albeit a major victory over Krylia Sovetov (5:0) and two defeats from Zenit (0:2) and Lokomotiv (1:2). As a result – so far only 8th place in the table and already a noticeable gap from the top three, which the Spartak team still dreams of getting into.
Our team can move even further away from the cherished troika of red and white. However, to do this, Dynamo will finally have to interrupt an unpleasant series of personal meetings with Spartak youth, which, for obvious reasons, began last season and continues to this day. This series consists of only two matches so far, but the problem is that it was not possible to beat Spartak in any of them: in the first, which was held in Novogorsk, the blue and white lost in all respects (1:3), and in the return, in Sokolniki, they were able to recoup only in the at the end of the match (1:1). Interestingly, the same player, Anastasia Orlova, scored both goals against Spartak for Dynamo. It will be symbolic if she does it again, but with a favorable outcome for our team.

The new meeting of Spartak and Dynamo within the framework of the Youth League will be served by the refereeing team led by Nailya Khasanova from Nizhny Novgorod, who will be assisted by assistant referees Ekaterina Pavlenko (Kostroma) and Ekaterina Chernova (Ulyanovsk).
Previously, Khasanova has already worked on Dynamo matches: in the Youth League – against Zenit (0:2), CSKA (1:0), Krasnodar (0:0) and Rostov (1:2); in the Super League – against Chertanovo (0:2), "Stars-2005" (1:0), " Rubin" (4:2) and twice against Ryazan-Airborne Forces (3:2 and 2:1).
The balance of Dynamo victories and defeats under the refereeing of Khasanova: 9 matches – 5 wins, 1 draw, 3 losses, goal difference 12-11.
