Team status

In the previous round, the blue and white went to the south of our capital - for the first derby of this season with the Housing and Communal Complex Chertanovo. Both teams started the season with defeats: Dynamo lost with a minimum score to Krasnodar (0:1) away, but Chertanovki also lost to Lokomotiv Moscow (1:4). It is clear that after such a start, the mood of the teams with blue and white colors was only one - to win, which should be the first of the season.

Therefore, it is not surprising that the teams started the game without a swing, and the main events of this meeting unfolded in the first half. The score was opened already in the 7th minute by the owners of the Chertanovo Arena and made from a standard position, but in the most non-standard way – Chertanovo forward Veronika Shumakova brought the ball into the goal of Maria Leontieva with a direct kick from the corner.

We must pay tribute to our team – even such an episode did not knock our girls out of the working mood, which means that everything is fine with the character of Oleg Gusev's wards. Less than 10 minutes after the curiously missed ball, asEkaterina Sergeeva equalized the score – she opened up great for a pass from the flankAnastasia Kovaleva and calmly punched Chertanovo goalkeeper Varvara Dudorova. The striker celebrated Dynamo's first goal of the season as expected – by dancing with captain Daniella Petrova.

But even such a bright start of the match did not bother the team in any way. They continued to spark at each other's gates, and the next fireworks were launched again at our gates: in the 19th minute, Polina Semina used inconsistency in the Dynamo defense, and the Chertanov team took the lead for the second time in this match. And, as it turned out, the last one.

Despite the slight advantage that the hosts had after their second goal scored, the end of the first half remained entirely for Dynamo. In the 42nd minute, the blue and white equalized the score - thanks to the same Sergeeva, who added an assist to the goal, and Svetlana Vinnikova, for whom the scored ball became her debut as part of Dynamo after transferring from Rostov.

Well, literally three minutes after that, something incredible happened – the second "dry leaf"! And not just in one match, but in one half! And Anastasia performed it Kovaleva, like Sergeeva, only added a goal to the effective transfer. Yes, even what!

After such a crazy first half, Dynamo still took a break as the winning team.

However, even for youth women's football, the match was too emotional. The second half of the meeting was much calmer, but the teams did not leave the audience without emotions in it either. There were also sharp moments, especially dangerous were the episodes with the participation of Petrova and Anna Chudilina, who were deprived of their first goals of the season only by the magnificent game of the Chertanovo goalkeeper. Another non-standard episode for football was as many as 7 substitutions, which were made by the Dynamo coaching staff during the second half. Well, where else can you see this?

By the way, two of the players who entered the field organized the fourth and this time the final goal of Dynamo, which finally and irrevocably removed all questions about the winner of this extraordinary match in the famous Moscow district. In the 80th minute, Alexandra Shevchenko took the ball in the penalty area, beat the defender and hit the goal. The ball did not roll very much into the target, and for sure would have become an easy prey for the goalkeeper and defenders of Chertanovo, but then jumped out at himAnastasia was angry and without thinking twice sent him to the opponents' goal. The same Gnena at the very end of the meeting could have put a beautiful point with a free kick, but this time she didn't have enough accuracy.

Well, a few minutes later, the final whistle of the chief referee Ekaterina Bibikova recorded the first victory of the blue and white this season of the Youth League.

— I note that the team started well. First of all, we are satisfied with the quality of the game in the first two rounds. "Chertanovo" and "Krasnodar" are very strong teams, one of the leaders of the youth championship. I was disappointed only with the result of the game in Krasnodar: according to the content of the game, we had to take points there.

We played the game with Chertanovo very well. From the very beginning we played aggressively in attack and started creating chances. However, unfortunately, they did not realize their capabilities, and also missed illogical balls. Nevertheless, the girls continued to do what we agreed on on the field. As a result, we realized our moments and brought the game to a well—deserved victory," Oleg Gusev, the head coach of the Dynamo youth football team, shared his impressions about the start of the blue and white in the new season.

Preview of the match "Dynamo" U-21 — "Rostov" U-21: where to watch, news, all about the opponent

About the opponent, the intersection of the players, the history of the confrontation, the judging panel

The opponent of the blue and white in the 3rd round - the youth team of the Rostov Housing and Communal Services – traces its history back to the end of 2020, when the main women's team was formed in Rostov–on-Don. In the 2021 season, young Rostov women did not take part in the Youth League, but joined the league in 2022 along with 4 other debutant clubs: Dynamo Moscow, Krylia Sovetov Samara, Rubin Kazan andKhimki-UOR No. 5 near Moscow.

As we remember very well, in that season dynamovki under the leadership of Sergey Lavrentiev won silver medals at the youth championship. But the Rostov team also performed well – Yana Chub's wards finished that championship in 6th place (among 13 participants) with a zero difference between goals scored and goals conceded (35-35) and were only three points behind Zenit St. Petersburg, which then took 4th place.

Since then, this particular season, however, like Dynamo's, remains the most successful so far in terms of results. As often happens, after such a bright and successful season, a recession followed. In the 2023 season, the yellow-blue performed, if not a failure, then certainly not as brightly as in the previous one – they took only 12th place out of a possible 16. And in 2024, already in the championship draw with the participation of 20 teams, they took the final 9th place, which, probably, can still be considered a good result.

Especially considering that the Rostov youth team had to change the head coach during the season: Yana Chub, who had been leading the youth team since its formation, moved to the main team at the height of the season, where she replaced Igor Gavrilin as head coach. She was replaced by Evgeny Gordikov, a 36–year-old specialist who previously worked as a goalkeeper coach in the main and youth teams of the Rostov Housing and Communal Services. It was he who brought the Rostov youth team to the 9th place, by the way, just ahead of the Moscow Dynamo, which was then headed by Mikhail Kobyakov. Rostov women in the 2024 season at home played a fiery draw with the blue and white (3:3), and in Novogorsk they took the victory (2:1).

But it is still difficult to explain what is happening with the team from the banks of the Don this season. The two opening matches in 2025 turned out to be a nightmare for Gordikov's wards: in the first match of the season in St. Petersburg, they were destroyed by Zenit - 0:17 (!), in the second, they were defeated at home by Moscow Lokomotiv with a smaller, but still crushing score of 0:7…

It is clear that with such a result (0 points, 0 scored and 24 missed goals in two games!) Rostov confidently closes the Youth League standings. Perhaps, of course, the explanation for this result lies in the average age of the team – it is now 16.7 years old. This is the second team in the league by this indicator – only the CSKA team is younger (16.67 years old). The backbone of the Rostov youth team consists of football players aged 16-17, and the oldest are only 19 years old, while there are also 15-year-old girls.

Of course, the new regulations of the Youth League also play a role, according to which, starting this season, players born earlier than 2005 and later than 2009 cannot be in the teams' application. And this is a minus for several football players who have experience of performing not only in the Youth, but also in the Super League and the Russian Cup. And specifically for Rostov, this is the loss of such important players of last season as midfielder Anastasia Shalimova and striker Vitalina Rodionenko, who now play only for the main team. Needless to say, if 29-year-old Tatyana Krasnova did a hat-trick for the Rostov youth team last season. It is simply impossible to imagine such a thing now.

And, of course, it is worth mentioning the main loss of the Rostov youth team this offseason: Svetlana Vinnikova, the main scorer of the yellow–blue in this tournament, left it: in 2022 – 11 goals, in 2023 – 3 goals in the Youth League, 3 goals + 1 transfer in the Super League, in 2024 year – 5 goals in the Youth League. And she moved to the Moscow Dynamo, for which she has already played two matches and scored one goal, just in the previous round against Chertanovo.

So, it seems that this season Evgeny Gordikov's team will face a lot of challenges and it will be incredibly difficult for them to repeat their best result in the Youth League. The next such test they will have to pass this Sunday in Novogorsk.

By the way, the successes of Rostov women in matches with Dynamo last season established complete equality in personal meetings, the advantage of Dynamo remained only in scoring goals. Now the history of the confrontation between the blue and white and Rostov at the youth team level is as follows: 2 wins, 2 draws, 2 defeats, a goal difference of 14-11.

The main scorer of Dynamo youth in this confrontation is midfielder Daniella Petrova (4 goals). But the second scorer of the matches between the teams from Moscow and Rostov-on-Don is Svetlana Vinnikova, who scored 3 goals. She scored them naturally as part of Rostov, for which she played in 2022-2024.

Well, now the 19-year-old striker can replenish this account again, but already as part of the Moscow Dynamo against her former team. By the way, here's what Svetlana herself told about her first goal scored for Dynamo and her personal plans for this season:

— We managed to turn the game around with Chertanovo thanks to each other's support. After the first missed goal, everyone believed that we could score. Aggressive actions in the attack played a big role. I experienced incredible joy and am proud to be able to defend the colors of Dynamo Moscow.

I have a goal – to break the personal record for goals scored in a season, that is, to score more than 11 goals.

The new, already the seventh meeting of the two clubs in the framework of the Youth League, which will be held in Novogorsk, will be served by the judging panel headed by Anna Gubareva from Sayanogorsk, who will be assisted by assistant referees Yana Zemskova (Samara) and Elena Krasnikova (Ruzaevka).

Previously, Gubareva did not work as a chief referee at Dynamo matches, but was a member of the refereeing teams as a reserve referee. For example, in the near future Anna can be seen on the sidelines during the match of the main teams "Dynamo" and "Chertanovo" as part of the 8th round of the Winline Super League, which will also be held in Novogorsk, but a day earlier, on May 3. Assistant referees Yana Zemskova and Elena Krasnikova, as well as inspector Sergey Khraltsov from Moscow, will work at the same game.

Such interesting intersections happen in the judicial world.
