Team status
The match of the 24th round of the WINLINE Super League was held by Alexander Katasonov's team at the Khimki Arena, well known to Dynamo fans. It was here that the blue and white men's team performed for almost a decade in anticipation of the completion of the VTB Arena. Now not only the second Dynamo team holds its games here, but also the CSKA Housing and Communal Services.
Our team came to visit the army club with another attempt to interrupt an unsuccessful series – the blue and white have never defeated the red and blue in the WINLINE Super League: 7 matches – 7 defeats. Our girls came to the game in T–shirts with the number 3 in support of Nadezhda Koltakova, who was out due to injury until the end of the season.
Army football players are fighting with the capital's Spartak for the championship title, and therefore they could save their chances for gold medals only if they defeated the blue and white.
Despite the increased motivation of the hostesses, the blue and white not only managed to defend their goal intact in the first half, but also seriously disturbed the army a couple of times with their attacks. The counterattack became especially dangerous in the 35th minute, when, after a corner unsuccessfully executed by Nadezhda Smirnova, they ran away to the army gateKristina Komissarova andIsidora Vuchkovich. That's just coolly to complete this attack and punish the red-blue for the mistake of dynamovki could not.
The main events of the game unfolded after the break. And here the advantage was expected from Maxim Zinoviev's team. Army football players could open an account almost immediately after the resumption of the game – after Elizaveta Semenova's overhang, Tatyana Petrova dangerously struck into touch, but did not hit the target. We must pay tribute to her – the goalkeeper of the red and blue did not flinch in any of the three dangerous moments that Dynamo created at her gate for three minutes.
Inspired by such an impeccable and reliable game of their goalkeeper, the Army soon pushed the game away from their goal and were able to bring the match to such an important victory for themselves. The championship race continues.
However, it would have continued in any case, as soon after the game it became known that for violating the rules of the WINLINE Super League of the Housing and Communal Complex "Dynamo" a technical defeat was counted in the game with CSKA with a score of 0:3.
Nevertheless, this did not change the balance of power at the finish of the season, and our team continues to fight for the fifth place in the standings – two rounds before the end of the championship, the Blue and white are separated from the Samara Wings of the Soviets by two points.

The next opponent of the blue and white - Kazan ZHFC Rubin – is desperately fighting for a place in the top 10 of the WINLINE Super League with Zvezda-2005 from Perm. Two rounds before the end of the season, Kazan and Perm clubs are separated by only one point – the teams have 17 and 16 points, respectively. Above the 10th and below the 11th place, the clubs can no longer move, and therefore the battle for the "top ten" will be serious.
Considering that last season Rubin finished the championship in 13th, last place in the standings, there is every reason to believe that the motivation of Evgeny Portnov's wards in the upcoming game with Dynamo will still be, and far from formal.
However, to beat the blue and white, and even on their field, the team from the capital of Tatarstan will not be that impossible, but very difficult. There are two good reasons for this.
Firstly, Rubin approaches the game in Novogorsk with an oppressive winless streak – in the last 7 matches he has only one draw (2:2 with Ryazan-Airborne away), in all other games there are almost hopeless defeats. The last time the Kazanki won back in July – in summer Krasnoyarsk they beat the local Yenisei with a minimum score (1:0).
The second reason is the damning statistics of Rubin's personal meetings with Dynamo Moscow. For all the time of the blue and white team's performance in the WINLINE of the Super League, the Kazan club has not been able to beat them even once. Moreover, for almost three seasons at the highest level, the Kazanki have never even taken away points from the Dynamo team: 5 matches – 5 defeats with a total score of 14:5.
However, in almost all meetings, Rubin tried to play on equal terms with Dynamo, only once in their face–to-face matches was a defeat recorded - in September 2023, in Novogorsk, the blue and white team beat the guests from Kazan with a score of 4:1. It was only after the ball of captain Yulia Bessolova that the Dynamovs were able to breathe a sigh of relief. Diana Khakimova's goal in added time could hardly have affected the final result of the match in Kazan - 2:1 in favor of Dynamo.
How the return game in Novogorsk will turn out is as difficult to predict as the outcome of the current season. But one thing is for sure – both teams retained their motivation at the finish line.
