Team status
In the 9th round of the Winline Super League, our team hosted guests from Perm – Zvezda-2005. The team that has been constantly adjacent to Dynamo in the final standings of the championship in the last two seasons: in the debut season for the blue and white-2023, Zvezda-2005 overtook our team at the finish line and took 4th place, and last season the Dynamo team was already one line above the team from Perm.
It is not surprising that this season the two teams are again placed side by side in the standings. As well as it is not surprising that Dynamo and Zvezda-2005 drew in a face-to-face meeting. However, I was a little surprised by the style in which this happened. The game itself in Novogorsk was replete with moments, mainly from Dynamo players, and beautiful actions both in attack and in defense. But if the blue and white were mainly responsible for the beauty in the attack in this match, then Elena Suslova's wards were surprised by the competent and very well-built game in defense.
However, luck in this game was on the side of the guests: Even in the first half, Kaylan Williams and Isidora Vuchkovich could score and provide their team with a quiet life, but the first hit the crossbar, and the second charged from the penalty area into the crossbar so that the ball flew almost to the center of the field. In general, in the first half, the blue and white very often hit the goal of Zvezda 2005, and they tried to do it both from a long and medium distance, and almost point blank. But the ball stubbornly did not want to cross Margarita Shirokova's goal line, as if she had bewitched them. So with zeros on the scoreboard, the teams left for a break.
Dynamovki started the second half just as actively. And it was understandable: during the break, the acting head coach of Dynamo, Alexander Katasonov, made a double substitution at once and both of them were of an attacking nature – instead of Williams and Komissarova, they came outDaniela Basaeva andBerivan Ichen.
But Yulia Bessolova, the captain of Dynamo, who was left all alone in the penalty area of Zvezda 2005, could and should have scored, sent the ball to heaven instead of the goal.
Until the end of the meeting, Dynamo football players had several more good opportunities to open an account and still snatch such a necessary victory. But somewhere they were unlucky again, and somewhere they themselves did not put the squeeze on or did not bring the matter to its logical conclusion.
Well, the fate of the match was finally decided at the very end. Moments in the last minutes of the same Bessolova, and especially the episode with Bojic's headbutt after a flank feed, could bring the team a third victory in a row. But in the end, everything ended with completely illogical zeros: Dynamo not only drew for the first time in the season, but also left the field without scoring goals.
But there is also good news: Tatyana Danilochkina has served her disqualification after being removed in the match with Chertanovo. So by the next game with CSKA, the blue and white midfielder will be in the ranks.

About the opponent
The next opponent of the blue and white - ZHFC CSKA is not just one of the leaders and favorites of the whole season, which everyone has long been used to, but personally for Dynamo and one of the most uncomfortable teams. If we take only the official meetings of the two teams, then the statistics for the blue and white are as sad as possible: 6 matches - 6 defeats, only 4 goals scored against the red and blue.
Dynamovki cannot lose to the army team yet only in friendly matches: both ended in goalless draws, one of them, by the way, happened this winter at the Turkish training camp.
In general, the next step in the relationship between the two teams finally suggests itself – the first victory of Dynamo. Only now it will be extremely difficult to get it, even at home. Just look at the progress that Maxim Zinoviev's team has scored since the start of the season: 7 wins, just one draw, 20 scored and only 2 missed goals! Right now, in terms of lost points, the army club is the leader of the Winline Super League.
However, if you look at the opponents with whom the red and blue seemed to be so easily dealt with in the matches played, then the monstrosity of CSKA may seem slightly exaggerated. So, the army football players beat: at home – Ryazan-Airborne Forces (4:0), Rostov (3:0), Krylia Sovetov (2:0); away – Yenisei (1:0), Zvezda-2005 (3:0), "Rubin" (4:1), "Chertanovo" (2:0). Agree, with all due respect to the named clubs, there were no real competitors of CSKA among them.
But the only loss of points from Zinoviev's team happened just with a competitor – at home with Spartak (1:1). And this, perhaps, is the key that Dynamo can use and play at least as well as their red-and-white colleagues. By the way, starting with Dynamo, CSKA begins a real test of championship ambitions this season: after the game in Novogorsk, the red and blue will have to fight Zenit, play twice with Lokomotiv and go to Krasnodar.
But all this is a matter of the near and not very future, and right now CSKA is waiting for a test with a refreshed and updated Dynamo, which, we hope, saved all its goals not scored in the last match with Zvezda-2005, namely for the derby with the army team.
