Team status
In the 18th round of the Super League, our team went to the banks of the Volga to meet with the Wings of the Soviets in Samara.
The match at the Metallurg stadium started without a swing – immediately with a goal attack by the blue and white in the first minute of the meeting. Kristina Komissarova served from the corner, after which Dynamo defender Yulia Myasnikova hit her head in a jump. The ball dropped in a high arc into the far corner of Kristina Fedorova's goal. This goal was one of the fastest in the history of the tournament.
In the first ten minutes, the blue and white continued to exert pressure, but the Samara defense stabilized the game. By the middle of the half, the pace slowed down, and the teams switched to fighting for the initiative in the center of the field. At the 23rd minute, referee Sofia Ryzhonkova issued the first warning in the match - a yellow card was given to the player of the "Wings of the Soviets" Anna Peshkova.
Soon after, Dynamo had a chance to double the advantage. Komissarova struck a solid blow from outside the penalty area, which Fedorova repelled. Anastasia Kovaleva was the first to finish, but she shot above the gate. By the end of the half, Samara football players began to seize the initiative, but their attacks lacked a finishing blow. In the 40th minute, the Muscovites' defense neutralized another attack by the hostesses. The first half ended with the score 0:1, one minute was added to the main time.
Like the first half, the second began with the active actions of Dynamo football players. Only by the 55th minute the game leveled up again, a lot of technical defects appeared. In the 57th minute, a dangerous moment arose at the gate of Anastasia Ananyeva: Sofia Shishkina beat the defenders and shot at the goal, but the goalkeeper fixed the ball. The next attack of the Volga women also ended with an inaccurate strike.
At the 62nd minute, the coaching staffs carried out a series of substitutions. Instead of Milena Lyubimova, Dynamo has Isidora Vuchkovich on the field. There was a double substitution in the composition of the Wings of the Soviets: instead of Tatyana Morina and Valeria Solodukhina, Anastasia Chirich and Anastasia Shvedova joined the game.
The fresh-faced Shvedova could have equalized the score in the 64th minute – after her headbutt, Ananyeva put the ball over the crossbar with her fingertips.
In the final part of the meeting, the Samara team acted more actively, creating threats mainly due to long-range strikes and standard positions. The Dynamo defense coped with the load, repeatedly transferring the game to the corners.
The denouement came in the 90th minute - Yulia Myasnikova was close to making a double after a corner kick, but the defenders of Krylia Sovetov took the ball out of the goal line. The teams spent the rest of the time in a positional struggle and did not create particularly dangerous moments.
The score, which was established in the first minute of the meeting, remained unchanged – 1:0 in favor of Dynamo Moscow.
