Team status

In the 7th round of the Winline Super League, our team set off on the longest journey of this season - to Krasnoyarsk to meet with the Yenisei Housing and Communal Complex, which, in addition to all the other delights of this trip, also plays on the artificial field of its football arena. However, this has never prevented Dynamo from winning there before – they won two seasons in a row in Krasnoyarsk with the same score of 1:0. Now the glasses were needed like air!

Fortunately, Dynamo coped with all the difficulties this time. Having arrived in Krasnoyarsk with a load of three defeats in the last four games and the departure of Sergey Lavrentiev from the team, the blue and white took away from Siberia such an important first victory for acting head coach Alexander Katasonov, and three goals scored at once, and the accompanying good mood.

As usual, having spent some time adapting to the artificial field of the Krasnoyarsk Football Arena, dynamovki opened the account by the end of half an hour of the game. Anastasia Shlapakova and Kaylan Williams became the heroines of the episode: the Belarusian intercepted the ball in someone else's half of the field and brought the American woman to the strike position, who, with her skill level, had no difficulty beating goalkeeper Ksenia Sergienko and sending the ball into the goal. After the missed goal, Yenisei shockingly played the end of the first half, but still did not create any real opportunities to recoup.

But Katasonov's wards did not want to postpone questions about the winner for a long time: less than a couple of minutes after the start of the second half of the meeting, the blue and white increased the gap. And again Anastasia Shlapakova acted as an assistant, however, this time Isidora Vuchkovich became the addressee of her exact transfer, who, with the help of goalkeeper Sergienko, distinguished herself for the first time in the Winline Super League – 0:2.

And although the Muscovites had the advantage in the game as a whole, they scored their next goal at the end of the match and did it from a standard position. Another debut goal for Dynamo was scored by another newcomer of our team – Berivan Ichen. At the 83rd minute, the Turkish woman irresistibly shot from a free kick into the near corner and made the score devastating – 3:0! By the way, this ball was recognized as the best goal of the 7th round of the Winline Super League according to the results of voting in the tournament's social networks.

She was also close to the double, but already in the game moment she did not have enough literally centimeters – the crossbar played for the Yenisei.

The third consecutive success in Krasnoyarsk brought Dynamo a beautiful and confident victory, which, hopefully, the team will charge up for the next match – this Saturday it is waiting for the principle derby.

About the opponent

The next opponent of the blue and white is the metropolitan Housing and Communal services "Chertanovo". One of the oldest clubs in the domestic women's football, has been playing in the Top League since 2014.

The most successful season for ZHFC Chertanovo was the 2018 season, when they became silver medalists of the Russian championship. Four times Muscovites won bronze medals of the championship, the last time in 2017. In the same 2017, ZHFC Chertanovo reached the final of the Cup of Russia, where it lost to CSKA, which won its first title in history.

Last season, Chertanovo was headed by the ex-mentor of the youth team of the Zenit Housing and Communal Services, Alexei Tarasyuk. In the 2023 season, for the first time in history, the specialist led the St. Petersburg youth team to the medals of the youth championship - then the blue–white-blues won silver medals, although until the last they fought with CSKA for the championship title. In the capital's club, the 36-year-old specialist, of course, does not have such opportunities as in Zenit. Here the emphasis is placed on working with young talented football players, who subsequently become leaders of Super League clubs claiming the highest places. There are many of them in the Moscow Dynamo, by the way.

And if in the Super League Chertanovo, led by Tarasyuk, finished the 2024 season in the lower half of the standings - in 9th place (6 wins, 4 draws, 14 defeats), then in the Russian Cup Muscovites really made a noise. Having won a difficult victory on the road in Kazan in the 1/8 finals over Rubin (1:0), in the quarterfinals Chertanovki presented the main sensation of the tournament – they passed the reigning Super League champion Zenit St. Petersburg on penalties at home! Only another Moscow team was able to beat the team from the south of Moscow – Lokomotiv, following the results of two matches, still stopped Chertanovo one step away from the final match. So last season was as bright as possible for Muscovites.

In the winter off–season, the team, as it often happens with it in recent years, went through a familiar process – several leaders left it, who went to the leading teams of the country: Ksenia Jinikashvili and Polina Sorokina (both Zenit), Svetlana Karagezyan and Yana Svistunova (both Spartak), Tatyana Danilochkina ("Dynamo").

But also rare additions from the outside for Chertanovo also happened: Liana Kotelnikova came to the capital club on loan from Dynamo, and Maria Koptsova continued playing for the Chertanovo team, where she moved last season also on loan from Zenit St. Petersburg.

Interestingly, this season Alexei Tarasyuk's team is still repeating its last year's result – right now Chertanovo is ranked 9th in the Winline Super League standings, and the results of the matches played are screaming that the club is waiting for a fun season again.

For example, how do you like this: Chertanovo beat Lokomotiv away in the first round (1:0), and then lost two consecutive home matches to Spartak (1:6) and Zenit (0:5)! Then it was no less exciting: defeat in Samara from Krylia (0:1), victory at home over Rostov (2:1) and in the last round before the meeting with Dynamo, home defeat again – from Zvezda 2005 (1:2). In general, what to expect from such a "Chertanovo", it seems, is not fully understood in the Moscow club itself.

Well, this Saturday our team and its coaching staff will have to figure it out.

Achievements: silver (2018) and bronze (1991, 1992, 1993, 2017) winner of the USSR Championship/Russia, finalist of the Russian Cup (2017), semi-finalist of the Commonwealth Champions Cup among women's teams (1996), participant of the 1/16 final of the Champions League (2016/17).
