The Dynamo youth team held its previous match in Kazan – against the youth team of ZHFC Rubin.

The meeting began with a tight struggle for the initiative. In the first minutes, the teams looked at each other, but the hostesses of the field acted more actively and more often owned the ball. Already in the 8th minute, Yulia Mazyakina checked the vigilance of our goalkeeper Diana Valieva with a tight low kick from the penalty spot — the goalkeeper took the ball safely. Rubin continued to press, forcing Dynamo to rely only on rare counterattacks, which for a long time did not reach the final blows.

By the middle of the half, it became really tense at the gates of the Muscovites. First, Lia Ovechkina shot dangerously from the penalty line past the target. And then Valieva almost made a productive mistake after a risky exit from the penalty area, but the opponent's player miraculously missed the empty net. By the 30th minute, Oleg Gusev's wards managed to move the game a little away from their goal, but the Cossacks looked more convincing, constantly threatening the goal with long-range strikes.

At the 36th minute, Dynamo had a promising approach, which was not crowned with an accentuated blow, and two minutes later the hostesses opened the account. The captain of "Rubin" Milana Mambetova was the first on the selection and sent the ball to the far "nine" with an accurate shot. The end of the half took place in the attempts of the blue and white to restore balance - they pressed their rivals and actively used the standards, but they left for the break at 1:0.

The second half began according to the scenario of the first: the Kazan team maintained control and continued to attack. At the 53rd minute, Valieva saved the team again, heroically winning a duel when going one-on-one with Ekaterina Leontieva. To refresh the game ahead, in the 59th minute, the Muscovite coaching staff made a double substitution: instead of Kristina Kubatkina and Daria Sorokina, Sofia Kolegova and Yana Nesterenko entered the field.

It was not possible to reverse the course of the meeting — the attacks lacked sharpness, and the Cossacks continued to press. One of the few chances arose in the 73rd minute after a corner kick, but Maria Zernikova shot her head inaccurately. Another onslaught of the hostesses brought the result in the 83rd minute: Darina Kudzieva ran away to a rendezvous with the goalkeeper and coolly realized a one-on-one exit. In the remaining time, Rubin was close to the third goal, but the final 2:0 remained unchanged.

— An unpleasant and insulting defeat. Unfortunately, the team did not fulfill the game plan that we have been playing all week in training. During the break, they tried to rebuild the game a little, move it away from their goal, changed the scheme, it became more lively.

Our tasks remain the same, the highest. We lost one game, it's okay, I think there won't be any teams that will pass the championship without losses. The main thing now is to draw the right conclusions and move on," Oleg Gusev, the head coach of the Dynamo youth football team, summed up the results of the first defeat of the season.

Defender Tatyana Chetvertnykh also shared her analysis on the hot footsteps of the match:

— There was not enough implementation in the attack today. Of course, I wanted to score and win. We played on character, we tried, but there was a little lack of communication in defense. During the break, the coaching staff made adjustments that we were able to implement in the second half, thanks to which we began to get better. We understood how Rubin would play and that it would be difficult, and that's how it turned out in the end.

A difficult away match in Kazan turned into the first loss of points in the current season for the Dynamo youth team. The blue and white team lost their lead in the standings, missing two Moscow clubs – Lokomotiv and CSKA - to the top at once.

However, the whole fight in the youth championship is ahead, and already in the next game with another metropolitan team, Housing and Communal Services "Chertanovo", dynamovki will try to regain the first place.

The opponent of the blue and white in the 6th round is the youth team of the Housing and Communal Complex "Chertanovo" – one of the three Youth League clubs that have not yet tasted victory this season. Chertanov football players have three draws and two defeats so far in 2026. Moreover, draws and defeats of Muscovites alternate as consistently as possible: draw – defeat – draw – defeat – draw. Only thanks to these tied results do Chertanovki surpass Samara Krylia Sovetov and Perm Zvezda-2005, who suffered five defeats in a row at the start of the season.

So the 2026 season, if it differs from the past, is not radically different. In 2025, the Chertanovo youth team took 8th place among 11 participants in Division I of the Youth League.

However, what exactly distinguishes the current team from last year's sample is the defensive game. During the five meetings held, chertanovki conceded only seven goals. Of course, this is far from the best indicator in the league, but certainly excellent for teams at the bottom of the standings. For comparison, the teams located below Chertanovo conceded 39 goals for two! "Wings of the Soviets" – 13, "Star-2005" – 26. And even the clubs occupying places above Chertanovsky have already missed an order of magnitude more: "Rostov" – 17, "Yenisei" – 23.

In many ways, the merit in such a reliable defensive game belongs to the updated Chertanovo coaching staff, which since this year has been headed by Anastasia Dronova, a 26–year-old Chertanovo pupil and ex-midfielder of Rossiyanka, Lokomotiv, Izhevsk Torpedo and the Russian youth national team. And her twin sister Tatyana helps her - she is also a pupil of Chertanovo and ex–goalkeeper of Lokomotiv, Izhevsk Torpedo, Kazan Rubin, Chertanovo and the Russian youth national team.

Having finished their playing careers quite early, the sisters switched to coaching at the football academy of the capital's Chertanovo, taking up junior teams of different ages and this season accepted the blue-and-white youth team after Albert Borzenkov.

For the Dynamo team, as you know, matches with Chertanov teams have been of a fundamental nature since the foundation of the club. Considering how many pupils play for the youth and the main blue and white teams, this is not surprising. But there is a Dynamo trace in Chertanovo. So, this season three football players with Dynamo past are playing for the Chertanovo youth team at once: 20-year-old defender Valeria Azeeva, who is spending this season in Chertanovo on loan, has already played 4 matches in the Youth League-2026, 17-year-old midfielder Milana Polevshchikova (has not played this season yet), who for Dynamo junior teams, and 17-year-old striker Daria Radikova (2 matches), who became the silver medalist of the Youth League as part of Dynamo in 2025.

The principled nature of the confrontation is also emphasized by the statistics of personal meetings: 3 victories at Dynamo, 3 victories at Chertanovo, 14-16 goals scored in favor of Chertanovo.

Last season, the teams showed productive football, but two victories in two matches were taken by Dynamo: 4:2 away and 6:2 at home. Few people will be surprised if they can't do without goals in the next meeting.
