Maxim Zinoviev's wards played their previous match against the reigning Super League champion Spartak Moscow.
Before the start of the meeting, the red-whites already knew the result of the match in Samara, in which CSKA was defeated by the Wings of the Soviets (0:2), which means that the victory in the derby guaranteed them leadership in the championship. The game became unusual even before the starting whistle: defender Yulia Myasnikova made her debut as part of the blue and white, and Maria Galai took the field in her 50th anniversary match for the club.
The game started without any preliminary buildup, and already in the first attack on the 30th second Spartak earned an effective corner kick. Marina Fedorova and Dina Blagojevich played the standard, followed by an accurate throw into the penalty area. Team captain Anna Kozhnikova received the ball at the far post and sent it to Anastasia Ananyeva's goal.
After just 15 minutes, Dynamo remained in the minority. On Saturday, the blue and white will play on the road with Moscow Chertanovo, one of the oldest women's football clubs in Russia.
In the 2026 season, the capital club entered a state of significant personnel and structural restructuring. The main change of faces took place in the coaching staff: Alexey Tarasyuk, who moved to Zenit, was replaced by a native Muscovite Andrei Bogdanavichus, ironically, who arrived from St. Petersburg.
The new mentor is tasked with maintaining the competitiveness of the team after the departure of a group of key players. Violetta Isaikina and Ksenia Oleksiuk, who joined Rubin, as well as Liana Kotelnikova, Anastasia Trenkina and Daria Eremenkova, who became Zvezda-2005 players, left the defensive line. The attacking potential has decreased after the transfer of forward Kira Petukhova to Spartak Moscow.
As is usually the case with Chertanovo, the main vector of strengthening was the bet on promising players, in particular, on Elena Golik, rented from Zenit. The attacking midfielder moved to the Moscow club in the status of the best midfielder of the SFL-girls of 2023 and the Youth League of 2024 in order to get more playing time in the Super League.
At the same time, despite the personnel losses, the coaching staff had effective offensive players at their disposal: Olesya Berezanskaya and Arina Akatieva.
