The 18-year-old Russian woman will compete for the title of the best young football player for the third time in her career at the end of the season.
Dynamo football player Tatiana Danilochkina became a nominee for the prestigious XXIII annual national award "Top Five". The full list of contenders for the title of the best young football player of the year in the women's Super League is published on the official website of the Viktor Gorlov Children's Football League (DFL).
This award traditionally celebrates the most promising young players in both the men's WORLD of the Russian Premier League and the women's WINLINE Super League. According to the results of the current season, 32 athletes were included in the final list, and Danilochkina will represent Dynamo in it.
This season, the midfielder played 25 matches for the main and youth teams of the blue and white and made one assist. As part of the Dynamo youth team under the leadership of head coach Oleg Gusev Danilochkina won silver medals of the Youth League.
In 2023 and 2024, Tatyana Danilochkina has already been nominated for the annual national award "Top Five", which is awarded to the best young football player at the end of the WINLINE Super League season.
Candidates are selected according to strict rules: each player must have Russian citizenship, be at least 21 years old and spend at least 2/3 of her team's matches in the championship on the field. At the same time, the expert council has the right to add players to the number of applicants by its decision.
The winner will be determined by a large-scale vote, in which a wide range of football specialists will take part.
Managers and head coaches of Super League clubs, mentors of all Russian national teams – from junior to national - will make their choice. They will be joined by representatives of the Russian Football Union (RFU), the WINLINE Super League itself, the DFL, specialized journalists and experts from organizations involved in the development of football.
