The blue and white team lost to the Moscow Region team on the road (1-0), conceding the only goal at the end of the first half.
Oleg Gusev's team held its first match in Yegoryevsk after a break of more than a month. And she was opposed by a team that had occupied the second place in the standings before this round and claimed overall leadership in the Youth League.
Unfortunately for the blue and white, the outcome of a generally equal match was decided by just one blow just before the break – the Dynamo defenders missed their rivals when giving a corner, and the hostesses scored a goal, which eventually became victorious.
Dynamo football players themselves had enough moments during the whole meeting: in the first half Ekaterina Sergeeva got a good chance, but she shot above the goal, in the second Alexandra Shevchenko could have equalized, but the goalkeeper of "Master Saturn" Elizaveta Larchenkova coped with the Dynamo striker's blow.
Dynamo had another good opportunity after they earned a dangerous free kick near the gates of the Moscow Region team, but they failed to take advantage of the standard position.
The end of the meeting turned out to be hot both literally and figuratively: the heat on the pitch of the Yegoryevsky stadium, the emotions of the Dynamo players who staged the final assault on the gates of the Master Saturn ... But - fortune was not on the side of our team on Sunday, and therefore the defeat and the missed chance to return to the top three of the Youth League.
