Losing in the score at the start of the match, the blue and white showed character and responded with two brilliant goals even before the break.
From the first minutes on the field, a double-edged struggle ensued. The teams quickly exchanged moments, and the blue and white ones got sharper: already in the 5th minute, Ekaterina Sergeeva almost missed the goal. The guests responded in the 8th minute with a dangerous penalty, but they shot well above the target.
Soon Zenit created the first truly scoring moment: Yulia Udovichenko struck a solid blow from outside the penalty area, but Arina Taranchenko reacted brilliantly, and the defenders took the ball away from the goal in time.
By the end of the 10th minute, the territorial advantage had passed to the Petersburgers. Dynamo deliberately gave the ball away, betting on dagger counterattacks. In the 13th minute, it got hot again at the blue and white goal: Anastasia Gnennaya technically beat our defenders on the edge of the penalty area and struck from an acute angle - Taranchenko transferred the ball to the corner.
Unfortunately, it was this standard that became effective. At the exit, when giving a corner, Arina made a mistake, there was a commotion in the penalty area, in which the guests' midfielder Anastasia Vanina turned out to be the most efficient, pushing the ball into the net.
The missed goal became an excellent irritant for Dynamo. Literally three minutes later, Ekaterina Sergeeva screwed up the Zenit defender, fell out one-on-one, but in close combat she could not beat goalkeeper Daria Selikhova. Next, Sergeeva shot with a free kick – the ball passed by. By the middle of the half, the guests noticeably slowed down the pace and switched to long-range strikes, which did not conceal mysteries for Taranchenko.
After a short pause and a lull in the game, Dynamo found the keys to the opponent's goal, giving out a phenomenal segment. At the 30th minute, Alisa Klimova performed a magnificent serve to Eva Rabchenyuk, who gracefully threw Selikhova out of the gate and restored the status quo - 1:1! And five minutes later, the blue and white came forward. Sergeeva again ran away to a rendezvous with the goalkeeper, Selikhova parried the blow, but Daria Guskova was right there on the rebound, literally driving the ball under the crossbar – 2:1!
At the end of the half, Zenit began to recover. In the 39th minute, the defender of the blue and white team, Tatyana Chetvertnykh, fouled dangerously close to the penalty area, for which she received a yellow card. Fortunately, Anastasia Gnennaya broke higher from the standard. The end of the first half was completely left to Dynamo: our girls continued to attack, while the guests only fought back.
The second half started with another moment at the gates of the Petersburgers, but it didn't work out right away to consolidate the lead. Dynamovki actively pressed their rivals, trying to put the squeezeon Zenit. By the 55th minute, the game leveled off: the blue-white-blues took the ball, but our team gnawed every centimeter of the field. At the end of the hour of the game, Rabchenyuk dangerously executed a free kick, but took it just above the target.
After that, Zenit began to seriously snap back. First, the guests struck two tight but inaccurate shots at Taranchenko's goal, and in the 64th minute the goal frame played for us - the ball after Daria Kotlova's shot shook the crossbar.
The Petersburgers turned on high pressure, but the impeccable actions of the Dynamo defense nullified all the efforts of the guests. There were simply no moments at the Dynamo gate, and by the 75th minute, Zenit's attacking impulse had finally faded away.
In the 80th minute, the coaches made a series of substitutions, preparing for a nervous ending. Soon all questions about the winner could be removed: Sergeeva again rushed one-on-one, but at the last moment the defenders managed to catch up with her. In the 85th minute, Arina Taranchenko made the stands nervous - after a dangerous shot at the center of the goal, she hit the ball in front of her, but on the second attempt she reliably covered it.
The last minutes turned into a classic bulk. Zenit stepped up, pressed and desperately tried to save the match. In compensated time, a guest player fell in our penalty area, but the referee rightly did not find a reason for a penalty.
The blue and white calmly fought back and brought the matter to a well-deserved victory. The final whistle recorded the most important triumph of Dynamo — 2:1!
