The Dynamo youth team started the season with a defeat in Krasnodar

The first opponent of the renewed Dynamo youth team under the leadership of Oleg Gusev was the silver medalist of the Youth League-2024 and one of the favorites of the new season – ZHFC Krasnodar.

Krasnodar began to justify their status almost immediately – from the first minutes they organized several dangerous attacks, one of which ended with an accurate strike by the black-and–green midfielder Yulia Beletskaya, which Dynamo goalkeeper Maria Leontieva could not cope with - 0:1. Literally after a couple of minutes, the hostesses could double the score – but blue and white saved the crossbar.

It should be noted that our goalkeeper in general became one of the heroines of the meeting as part of the Dynamo team. At least, the number of potentially scoring shots that the townspeople created during the entire meeting would have been enough for a full-fledged defeat of the Dynamo youth team in the first match of the season. At least until the end of the first half, Leontieva twice saved her teammates from the right goals, in one of the episodes she pulled out even when going one-on-one.

No less stormy events unfolded in the second half of the match in Krasnodar. Firstly, our girls finally got used to the Krasnodar arena and also began to create good opportunities for taking the opponents' goals: Ekaterina Sergeeva and Svetlana Vinnikova, if they were not obliged to score, then the nerves of the Krasnodar fans and the coaching staff of the Krasnodar youth team were definitely frayed.

However, the advantage was still owned by the hostesses and it was they who controlled the course of the game. And it was still developing strenuously at our gates, and Maria Leontieva's work in the second half clearly did not decrease.

Ten minutes passed especially hot at the Dynamo gate from the 60th to the 70th minute. It also contained the saves of the goalkeeper of the blue and white after long and medium strokes of Krasnodar, and the most dangerous penalty, and ... even a reflected penalty! In the 66th minute, the chief referee of the meeting, Ekaterina Manchenko, pointed to the spot after the Dynamo defenders fouled, and the author of the first goal, Yulia Beletskaya, approached the ball. That's just the second time she failed to upset our Masha – Leontieva first deflected the blow, and then, like a cat, covered the ball and did not allow any of the housewives to play on finishing.

Disappointed with this turn of events, the townspeople cooled down a little, and then continued to put pressure on the Dynamo gate. However, they did not manage to create anything equally dangerous.

But in fairness, the game in the attack of our Dynamo team in the opening match of the season did not please, and leaving zero in the scoring column.

1:0 in favor of Krasnodar – and the updated blue and white youth team starts the season with a defeat on a difficult road trip.
