Yulia Myasnikova's free-kick goal brings Dynamo a difficult victory over Chertanovo

Despite the next removal, the blue and white retained a minimal advantage until the final whistle.

The match in the south of the capital was supposed to be a moment of truth for the blue and white after a protracted goalless series. In the previous round, Maxim Zinoviev's wards suffered a painful defeat in the derby with Spartak (0:2). That meeting started disastrously for Dynamo: the ball flew into the net of Anastasia Ananyeva's goal already at the 30th second, and at the 16th minute the team remained in the minority after Anastasia Kovaleva was removed. Despite the dedication of the defense and the forced tactical changes, it was not possible to save the game, and before the meeting with Chertanovo, the goalless series of Dynamo had two matches in a row.

A special intrigue to the confrontation in Severny Chertanov, as always, was given by the history of personal meetings and numerous intersections of the players of both teams. For a number of Dynamo players, the Chertanov school is native.

Unlike blue and white, chertanovki approached the derby on an emotional high. Andrei Bogdanavichus's team has undergone a difficult restructuring after another loss of key players who left for other Super League clubs in the offseason. Despite the seemingly solid statistical superiority over rivals, for example, an average of 20 shots on goal per game, points were given to the chertanovs with great difficulty. First of all, because of problems with implementation and discipline. At the start of the season, they suffered four defeats in a row, and only in the fifth game against the Krasnoyarsk Yenisei, the Muscovites managed to turn the situation around: losing in the score, they snatched victory thanks to Victoria Sokach's double in the last minutes.

It is also interesting that the opponents approached the face-to-face duel with opposite tasks. If Dynamo needed to at least break the scoring drought and return to the winning path, then the updated Chertanovo intended to prove that their aggressive attacking style was capable of producing results in matches against the grandees.

The match began with the active pressure of the hostesses of the field – only in the first four minutes the Chertanov players performed four corner kicks. Dynamo defense coped with the load, but there were problems with attacking actions. The first attack of the blue and white took place only in the sixth minute of the meeting.

At the 8th minute, chertanovki organized another promising approach, which ended with an offside. A minute later, the first truly scoring moment appeared: Alina Shkalova hit Anastasia Ananyeva from the center of the penalty area, but Dynamo defender Maria Galai blocked the ball, preventing it from crossing the goal line.

At the 18th minute, a controversial moment arose already in the Chertanovo penalty area: Kristina Komissarova fell inside the host penalty area after contact with her opponent, but the chief referee of the meeting, Alexandra Ponomareva, did not record any violations.

Gradually, Dynamo moved the game away from its gates and began to regularly get to someone else's penalty area. So, Ekaterina Sergeeva almost beat Chertanovo goalkeeper Varvara Dudorova in the fight for the ball, the same Komissarova first checked Dudorova from a distance, and then, after receiving a pass from Yulia Bessolova, she struck from the 11-meter mark — the goalkeeper again fixed the ball.

At the very end of the half, the captain of the blue and white could have opened the score herself with a shot from the penalty area, but she struck right into the hands of the goalkeeper. The first half of the meeting ended with the Dynamo attack, from which the Dynamos could well have learned something useful for themselves.

During the break, the Chertanovo coaching staff made a double substitution, but Maxim Zinoviev's wards started the second half of the meeting more actively. The main event of the half, and indeed of the whole match, as it turned out, happened in the 51st minute, when Dynamo defender Yulia Myasnikova sent the ball into the net with a direct free kick, opening the score! For our team, this ball was only the second of the season.

Another key episode happened in the 64th minute, when Myasnikova again proved herself, blocking Chertanovok's dangerous shot at Ananyeva's goal. In the second half of the half, the hostesses finally switched to bulk, but Dynamo ... again ended the meeting in the minority.

In the 78th minute Nadezhda Koltakova, being on the lawn, managed to get a straight red card from Ponomareva. This removal was the second in a row for the team – Anastasia Kovaleva also earned a direct removal in the last meeting with Spartak.

It is not surprising that in the remaining time the team had to mostly fight back and maintain a minimal advantage in the score. Despite the final assault, which was staged by the Dynamo gate of the hostess of the field, it was still possible to do it, and at the same time – to get such a difficult victory, which became the second this season!
