The pupil of the blue and white was awarded by the participants of the Youth League for her productive game, which helped the team win silver medals of the youth championship.
According to the results of the voting of the participating clubs of the women's Youth League, the winners of the 2025 season were determined. Ekaterina Sergeeva, an 18-year-old Dynamo Moscow football player, received the award in the "Best Midfielder" nomination.
Last season, the pupil of the blue and white showed high performance. In the Youth League matches, following which Dynamo won silver medals under the leadership of head coach Oleg Gusev, Sergeeva scored 9 goals and gave 3 assists. In addition, the midfielder was involved in the games of the main squad: in two meetings of the women's WINLINE Super League, she scored one goal and one effective pass.
Ekaterina Sergeeva has been in the Moscow club system since December 2021, having gone from the U-15 team to the base, where she has been training since the beginning of 2023. The athlete is also a player of the Russian youth national team (U-19).
The midfielder already has significant achievements in the history of the club. In 2023, she set a record as the author of the "youngest" goal of the Dynamo Football Club in the Russian Cup, having distinguished herself at the age of 16 years and 3 months in the match against Strogino (11:1). By the way, that ball, according to the results of fan voting, was recognized as the best goal of June.
