The outcome of the principled confrontation was decided by the only accurate strike in the second half.
The start of the meeting was held in an equal struggle: the teams were looking for approaches to the goal, and the first minutes passed without dangerous moments. By the 10th minute, the picture had not changed – there was much more struggle on the field than a creative game. The first shot on target happened only in the 12th minute: the Spartacists executed a penalty, but the ball flew right into the hands of our goalkeeper Arina Taranchenko. By the 14th minute, no one still owned the initiative, and the hostesses' approaches were not fraught with sharpness.
In the 16th minute, Dynamo fought off a dangerous attack very well: Violetta Kahramanzade, the best scorer of the red and white, hit hard, but hit our defender. In the 19th minute, Spartak tried to take the advantage, but the teams exchanged attacks, and Daria Sorokina shot right into the hands of goalkeeper Angelina Shirochenko.
By the middle of the half, the battle for the initiative continued, no one had a clear advantage, but the number of fouls increased. In the 28th minute, Varvara Demidova struck a direct free kick - again into the hands of Shirochenko, to which the Spartacists responded in the 31st minute with their blow into the hands of Taranchenko. The red-whites earned a lot of standard positions, but did not use them due to the reliable play of the blue-whites in defense. In addition, Spartak tried to impose pressure on our half of the field, while Dynamo relied on quick counterattacks.
In the 39th minute, Dynamo striker Eva Rabchenyuk rudely fouled, received a yellow card and will now miss the next match with Krasnodar. Before the break, in the 43rd minute, Spartak piled on our goal, trying to open an account, but the defense acted flawlessly. The most acute episode of the half happened in the 44th minute: Kahramanzade, forgotten in the penalty area, touched the ball, but it bounced off the lawn in Taranchenko's hands, after which the teams left for a break.
The second half started briskly: by the 50th minute, the teams exchanged sharp attacks. Daniella Petrova shot into the near corner, but the goalkeeper of Spartak was in place. In the 53rd minute, Dynamo earned a second yellow card - Anastasia Buchatskaya received a warning for a foul on Kahramanzade. The blue and white increased the pressure, and in the 57th minute a quick attack ended with Rabchenyuk's shot from outside the penalty area: the ball hit the goal, but only from the outside of the net.
But in the 58th minute there was a long-awaited goal! Petrova gave a pass from the right flank to Daria Guskova, and she put the ball exactly into the corner of the hosts' goal with a perfect shot – 1:0!
Spartak immediately rushed to recoup. In the 60th minute, Tatyana Chetvertnykh, at the cost of a third yellow card, stopped Kahramanzade, who was rushing to our goal. At the 61st minute, the hostesses created the most dangerous moment: after giving a free kick, Anastasia Kolokolchikova hit the post, from which the ball successfully bounced right into Taranchenko's hands!
By the middle of the second half, the game had broken up into episodes, and the rivals switched to mutual counterattacks. Dynamo had great moments from the standards in the 69th minute, only the implementation was missing. In the 76th minute, Ekaterina Sergeeva struck a magnificent blow, which Shirochenko saw off only with her eyes – if she had hit the target, it would have been the second goal. In the 79th minute, Petrova also struck inaccurately.
By the 85th minute, there was no complete game – there were continuous stops. The ending turned out to be incredibly valid. In the 90th minute, the bar again saved Dynamo after Kahramanzade's shot. And at the 90+3rd minute, a real drama happened: Spartak goalkeeper Shirochenko came running to the Dynamo penalty area! She managed to hit the goal twice, but the brilliant Arina Taranchenko saved the team, never allowing the ball to be in the net!
Only in the 95th minute the long-awaited final whistle sounded. Despite the most brutal final assault of the Spartacists, Dynamo holds the victory – 1:0!
