The outcome of the ticket to the semifinals was decided in a series of post-match 11-meter strikes, where the spartacists turned out to be more accurate – 4:5.
Football in Novogorsk is always a special atmosphere, but when the reigning champion and the winner of the Super Cup comes to visit, the degree of expectation goes off scale. The next series of the derby against Spartak for our girls is not just a fight for three points, but a chance to turn the story around, which has not been in our favor lately.
Maxim Zinoviev's wards approached this confrontation on an emotional high after a strong-willed victory in Ryazan. That match, which closed the first round, turned into a real test: a downpour and huge puddles on the lawn interfered with the combination game, but did not break the Dynamo character. Despite everything, the blue and white survived and took away the most important victory from Ryazan (2:1).
Today's opponent is a test of a completely different scale. "Spartak" Vadim Kozlov is on the third line, breaking away from us by nine points. The red-and-whites have strengthened powerfully: defender Anna Belomyttseva, scoring Kira Petukhova from Chertanovo and the top scorer of the league-2025 Gabriela Gzhivinska joined the team.
And although the champion suffers losses – Lydia Kulish and the best player of last season Tiyana Filipovic are injured – their cup form is impressive. This year Spartak has already won the Super Cup, beating CSKA (1:0) thanks to Lara Ivanusha's goal, and defeated Paris NN in the Russian Cup with a score of 9:0, where Natalia Mashina scored a hat-trick.
For Dynamo, this derby is an opportunity to close old debts. We remember the disappointing defeat in the fifth round, when we missed the fastest goal in the history of Spartak from Anna Kozhnikova already at the 30th second, and then remained in the minority after Anastasia Kovaleva was removed. Then Lina Yakupova set the final 2:0, securing the fifth consecutive victory of the red-whites in face-to-face meetings.
It's time to interrupt this series. No matter what condition the opponent is in, he has no equal in the games and the derby, but today the blue and white entered the field of Novogorsk with one goal - to prove that the lessons learned in rainy Ryazan and the thirst for revenge are stronger than any statistics.
The game started with an equal struggle, but already in the 4th minute the dynamo opened the account. After a corner kick by Kristina Komissarova and a kick by Anastasia Shlapakova, the ball got stuck in Elizaveta Shcherbakova's goalkeeper square, from where Daniela Basaeva sent it into the goal – 1:0!
By the 11th minute, the Spartacists intensified the pressure and tried to break through the dense defense of Dynamo. They managed to do this already in the 15th minute: Gabriela Gzhivinska received the ball after a discount from the Dynamo defender and delivered an accurate shot without resistance - 1:1.
By the 20th minute, the guests finally seized the initiative, forcing Dynamo to launch counterattacks. In the 22nd minute, Yulia Myasnikova thwarted a dangerous pass by Gzhivinskaya. After that, the game calmed down a little. Spartak had more possession of the ball and pressed the hostesses to the goal, but Dynamo's defense acted without mistakes. So the teams played until the break, which they left with an equal score.
During the break, Dynamo had a double substitution: Isidora Vuchkovich came out instead of Milena Lyubimova, and Irina Dricheva replaced Kristina Komissarova. The pattern of the game remained after the break: Spartak owned the ball, Dynamo controlled the approaches to the penalty area.
Nevertheless, the blue and white also had moments in the attack. So, for example, in the 64th minute, Vuchkovich broke through on the flank and shot into the penalty area, where Irina Dricheva did not have enough centimeters to close the transfer.
In the final quarter of the hour, the teams exchanged substitutions and moments: Kira Petukhova replaced Natalia with a car for the guests, and Berivan Ichen took the field instead of Anastasia Shlapakova for Dynamo. In the 77th minute, Anastasia Kovaleva's powerful shot under the crossbar was parried by Shcherbakova from free space. At the end of the match, Isidora Vuchkovich received a warning, after which Ananyeva made two key saves: first, she coped with a headbutt by Gzhivinska in the 82nd minute, and in the 89th pulled out the most dangerous long-range shot by Dina Blagojevich.
The referee added two minutes to the main time, during which Spartak players made a tactical double substitution before the penalty: instead of goalkeeper Shcherbakova, Victoria Nosenko came out, and Lydia Kulish replaced Cherkasova. The main time ended with a score of 1:1, and the fate of the ticket to the semifinals was decided in a series of 11-meter.
The very first blow of Dynamo, performed by Tatyana Danilochkina, missed the goal. In the future, the players of both teams were accurate. Spartak's attempts were made by Marina Fedorova, Dina Blagojevich, Gabriela Gzhivinska, Natalia Morozova and Lydia Kulish. Daniela Basaeva, Berivan Ichen, Irina Dricheva and Anastasia Kovaleva coolly scored for the blue and white.
However, the final score of the penalty shootout turned out to be 4:5 in favor of Spartak, and Dynamo completed its performance in the draw of the Russian Cup-2026.
