Dynamo again lost to Spartak in the derby

The Super League calendar brought Dynamo and Spartak together for the second time in a week. Seven days after the quarterfinals of the Cup of Russia in Khimki, the teams met again, but this time as part of the championship. The previous game at the Rodina stadium ended with Maxim Zinoviev's players being eliminated from the tournament following a penalty shootout. Although it all started very well for our team.

The blue and white opened the scoring already in the 4th minute. After a corner by Kristina Komissarova and Anastasia Shlapakova's shot, confusion arose in Elizaveta Shcherbakova's goalkeeper square, in which Daniela Basaeva got her bearings faster than anyone and sent the ball into the net. But Spartak quickly recovered: in the 15th minute Gabriela Gzhivinska took advantage of an unsuccessful rebate of the ball in the Dynamo penalty area and delivered an accurate shot without resistance.

By the middle of the first half, the initiative had passed to the guests, but Dynamo's organized defense allowed them to take a break with an equal score. In the second half, the teams periodically exchanged barbs, but none of them eventually achieved their goal. Both teams did not take advantage of the most realistic chances to snatch victory at the very end of regular time: in the 77th minute, the red-and-white goalkeeper Elizaveta Shcherbakova parried Anastasia Kovaleva's shot under the crossbar, and a few minutes later Dynamo goalkeeper Anastasia Ananyeva saved Dynamo's goal twice – after a headbutt by Gzhivinskaya and a long shot by Dina Blagojevich.

Interestingly, just before the penalty shootout, Spartak made a tactical replacement of the goalkeeper, releasing Victoria Nosenko instead of Shcherbakova, and Lydia Kulish came out instead of Cherkasova. Alas, this lottery of 11-meter turned out not to be in our favor. The first blow of Tatyana Danilochkina turned out to be unsuccessful – the ball was parried by Nosenko, who went under a penalty shootout.

And although Daniela Basaeva, Berivan Ichen, Irina Dricheva and Anastasia Kovaleva made their attempts, Spartak was flawless: accurate shots by Fedorova, Blagojevich, Gzhivinskaya, Morozova and Kulish took Spartak to the semifinals of the Russian Cup.

So today's match gave a chance not only to get even for the Cup, but also another attempt to reset the "black" statistics for Dynamo in the games with Spartak. The unbeaten streak of the blue and white in matches with Spartak before the new meeting was 6 games (5 defeats in the Super League and one in the Cup). Here, as they say, there was nowhere to retreat. And in the standings, the teams were separated by 12 points and three lines.

However, all these figures were forgotten as soon as the starting whistle sounded.

From the first minutes of the meeting, the hostesses of the field took the initiative, forcing Maxim Zinoviev's wards to play the second number. Already in the 6th minute, the first dangerous moment appeared at the gate of Anastasia Ananyeva, but the blue and white goalkeeper confidently entered the game, retaining control of the situation.

By the 10th minute, dynamovki switched to active pressure, aggressively meeting rivals in their half of the field. This pressure quickly led to the most acute moment of the starting segment: in the 13th minute, Yulia Myasnikova delivered a powerful blow, after which the ball shook the crossbar of Elizaveta Shcherbakova's goal. In this episode, the goalkeeper of the red and white could no longer help out her team.

Four minutes later, Anastasia Shlapakova received the ball in the penalty area, turned around and struck — Milena Lyubimova would have barely reached the ball even in an acrobatic jump. Spartak responded in the 18th minute with a strike by Gabriela Gzhivinska, but the ball missed the target. By the 20th minute, the red-whites created two more chances, but the accuracy let them down in the final phase.

After a short pause in the middle of the half, the Dynamos continued to be active ahead. In the 30th minute, the Belarusian duet worked: Anastasia Kovaleva found Anastasia Shlapakova with a pass in the penalty area, who shot above the goal. By the 34th minute, Spartak had increased the pressure again, forcing Dynamo to return to defense. Despite the attempts of the red and white to open the scoring before the break, the blue and white defense acted tightly, and most of the opponents' attacks were blocked on the approaches to the goal. At the end of the half, the teams exchanged moments: Yulia Bessolova, after Kovaleva's transfer, hit the touch, but did not hit the target. The referee added two minutes, and the first half of the meeting ended in a goalless draw with an equal but wasteful game on both sides.

The teams started the second half cautiously, which did not prevent Milena Lyubimova from creating a super moment in the 53rd minute: she turned around smartly and struck with her left foot from five meters! "Spartak" was saved by Elizaveta Shcherbakova, who repelled this blow. Five minutes later, the hosts responded, which, however, did not conceal a serious threat.

After another break at the watering hole in the 68th minute, the pace of the game slightly decreased. In the 69th minute, Yakupova beat Myasnikova and struck a blow, which Ananyeva coped with. In the 74th minute, our goalkeeper rescued the team again, taking Natalia's insidious Car kick into the corner.

However, in the 79th minute, the blue and white defense still made a productive mistake: Gabriela Gzhivinska was left without care in front of the goal and easily sent the ball into the net - 0:1.

Maxim Zinoviev tried to change the course of the meeting with substitutions: on the 85th, Irina Dricheva and Lamunat Mustafaeva replaced Komissarova and Shlapakova. However, at the end of the meeting, Spartak rather had the opportunity to consolidate its success: in the 83rd minute, the former dynamo Marina Fedorova shot past the target from afar, and in the 88th, Gzhivinska scored an inaccurate long-range strike.

The main referee of the meeting, Anna Fedina, added four minutes to the main time of the second half. By this time, the blue and white had practically no forces left for the final assault…

Dynamo lost to Spartak in the second derby of the season, this time conceding the decisive goal in regular time.
