The blue and white team failed to score a single goal for the capital's team (0:2) and dropped to 9th place in the championship.
The historic victory over Zenit in the last round was a very good sign for Alexander Katasonov's team. There was plenty of long-awaited positivity: here was the first success in the history of the Dynamo Housing and Communal Complex in a game with a club from St. Petersburg, and even in the status of the current champion of the Winline Super League, and the interrupted three-match series without goals against rivals, and Anastasia Shlapakova's first goal for the blue and white after the transition, and finally, Maria Digurova's 50th match in a Dynamo Moscow T-shirt!
Is it possible to consider as a positive the fact that after the meeting with Zenit, the Dynamos went on a three-week break without official matches due to missing the 16th round according to the regulations? Why not, considering that the last games were very difficult for the blue and white. And the weather in late July-early August in Russia was such that it was good for our team to do without official meetings.
Anyway, even after such a long break, the good mood of Katasonov's wards should at least have remained. And here there is also a calendar, in which Dynamos will not have to leave the capital region until the end of August. This Saturday they played in Moscow with Chertanovo, and a week later they will host Krasnodar in Novogorsk. And only on the 20th of August they will go to Samara to meet with the Wings of the Soviets, which are inconvenient for themselves this season. But all this will happen later, but for now the fans and the team were waiting for another capital derby – this time with a team from the south of Moscow, well known to many Dynamo players.
As always, the already important match was also intrigued by the good condition in which Chertanovo approached the game. The team led by Alexei Tarasyuk has lost only once in the last seven matches of the championship: it had 3 wins and 3 draws. Chertanovki began to regularly gain points from the end of May, which allowed them to rise to 9th place in the Winline Super League standings after an unsuccessful start to the season.
Moreover, before the start of the match at the Chertanovo Arena, the hostesses were only two points behind Dynamo and, if they won, they could bypass the blue and white already in this round.

As if going into the game with this thought in mind, the chertanovki ran forward from the very first minutes and began to disturb the Dynamo defense with their not yet dangerous, but still unpleasant moments. Chertanovki were no less active in defense. What is worth at least a moment with a violation on Fauzia Nazhembe – after a hard foul by the Chertanov football player, the blue and white striker could finish the match ahead of schedule 10 minutes after it started…
Nevertheless, the first truly scoring moment was created by Dynamo. At the 15th minute, captain Yulia Bessolova, after passing a cross from Nazhemba, could open the score, but the ball after her shot went too high from the goal.
After that, the same Nazhemba almost saw the ball in the net of the Chertanovo gate after she punched right under the crossbar almost from the goalie's line, but ... Then Chertanovo goalkeeper Violetta Isaikina showed herself in all her glory, making a super save, transferring the ball to the corner.
Unfortunately, these two moments have become the most dangerous for our girls. Then, although the Dynamos did not stop attacking, especially in the second half, they no longer had such real chances to score goals.
But the hostesses of the field at the end of the first half added and transferred the game to someone else's penalty area. In one of these attacks, Camilla Abashilova did not play too neatly at the very beginning of the penalty area and fouled her opponent. The chief referee of the meeting, Alina Vakhrusheva, pointed to the "point" without any doubts, and the captain of Chertanovo, Daria Eremenkova, coolly realized the penalty.
Instead of a solid advantage in the score, we got an offensive 0:1 on the scoreboard before the break and certainly not the most pleasant conversation in the locker room with the coaching staff.

As has happened more than once this season, the blue and white head coach Alexander Katasonov began the second half of the match with drastic changes in the lineup: three fresh players appeared on the field at once – Zelka Belovan, Anastasia Shlapakova and Kaylan Williams. Can we say that it somehow changed the Dynamo game right away? In general, no. Moreover, Shlapakova and Williams came out so wound up that they immediately received a yellow card. But with the moments at someone else's gate, they clearly had worse.
And then Chertanovo's second goal happened ... Kira Petukhova ran away to the counterattack, got close one-on-one with Diana Ponomareva and in one movement put the ball exactly in the corner – 0:2.
It is clear that the task of the blue and white did not change much even after that - they had to score anyway! Only neither the players themselves nor the Dynamo coaches could figure out how to do it. At some moments, I literally did not go to the gates of the Chertanov team, as if they were enchanted that evening.
Especially revealing was the moment in the 71st minute, when, after a hit by Shlapakova, the ball ricocheted off Williams' back, disorienting the Chertanovo goalkeeper, and was already rolling over the goal line, but at the last moment the same ubiquitous Isaikina managed to cover it. At the end of the match, even Zelka Belovan started hitting the Chertanov goal, but even the Dynamo central defender did not want the ball to fly into the opponent's net.
Symbolic for such a match was the most recent attack in this game, which was carried out by Dynamo football players. Kristina Komissarova was already hitting the goal from the penalty area without interference, the ball had nowhere to go but to fly into the far corner, but this time it still missed the bar from the outside of Violetta Isaikina's goal.
The final defeat with a score of 0:2 continued the series of Dynamo matches without scoring goals this summer, and Chertanovo, thanks to the victory, beat the blue and white in the Winline Super League standings, sending them to 9th place.
