Dynamo beat Rubin on the road

Sergey Lavrentiev's team interrupted a series of defeats with a victory in Kazan (2:1).

Moscow dynamovki spent a controversial month at the start of the season. Judge for yourself: the teams played three matches in March, one of which they confidently won (at home with Rostov - 4:1), and the other two lost (both away – 1:2 to Krasnodar and 1:3 to Spartak).

The last defeat was, of course, the most unpleasant: firstly, the last one is always remembered, and secondly, the second consecutive defeat of the season was in the derby with the most important opponent. To add to this the fact that during the appearance in the Super League of Spartak Moscow, the blue and white have never beaten, but even failed to take away points from the red and white - the mood of Sergei Lavrentiev's wards should not be very good.

However, to all the inconsistency of the first playing month of the season, the ragged playing rhythm of our team was added. Having played on March 8 and 15 with Rostov and Krasnodar, respectively, the blue and white team went on a forced two-week break related to the Winline regulations of the Super League. Returning after a pause, Dynamo, without any buildup, rushed into the derby with Spartak, and even on the guest field.

And right after it... a new two-week pause! But this time – for everyone. Many football players from the Winline Super League have gone to their national teams, including, by the way, Dynamo players. There were 12 such people at once! Kristina Komissarova, Elena Shesterneva, Yulia Bessolova, Maria Galai, Elina Samoilova, Tatyana Danilochkina, Arina Taranchenko, Ekaterina Sergeeva and Valeria Azeeva went to the Russian national teams of different ages, Anastasia Shlapakova and Anna Sas went to the Belarusian national team, but Anastasia Kovaleva, who just distinguished herself in the the last match of the championship with Spartak.

So another paradox turned out: it seems that another pause was supposed to help the Dynamo coaching staff with preparing for a new game (with Rubin in Kazan), but on the other hand, in the absence of such a large number of main players, it was not that problematic, but somewhat difficult.

Nevertheless, it was more than intriguing to see how this affected the team before the meeting with Rubin. Especially when you consider that last season the Kazan club finished hopelessly in last place of the standings, and this ... before the face-to-face match it was located above Dynamo.

As expected, after a two-week pause for the national teams, the start of the match in Kazan was not pleased with some incredible activity on the part of both teams. The hosts, although they were in the standings above Dynamo, were still afraid to get ahead from the very first minutes and be the first to open an account at any cost, and the blue and white, mindful of two defeats in a row, also did not work hard ahead.

It is not surprising that almost half of the first half was spent in a positional struggle, and the attacks of the Cossacks and Muscovites did not cause any special problems to each other. However, as we know, this never indicates that the match will turn out to be goalless and low-event. Especially when it comes to women's football.

Even against the background of a not very active game of two teams in the Dynamo team, three players stood out at once: midfielders Isidora Vuchkovich and Ichen Berivan, who had just transferred to the capital club, and striker Daniela Basaeva. It was the newcomers of the blue and white and made the first goal of our team: the Turkish football player gave a wonderful pass to Basaeva, who first ran away from her guardian defender, and then clearly beat the goalkeeper of "Rubin" Angelina Tsirulnikova, rolling the ball exactly into the corner – 1:0!

Daniela Basayeva has the first goal and Ichen Berivan has the first goal in the first match for Dynamo! And in general, I didn't want to remember any of the gloom of the first half hour.

Moreover, after scoring the goal, the Dynamos ran away and could have doubled the score already in the first half – but Milena Nikitina did not have enough accuracy to close with her head another magnificent cross from the right flank of Vuchkovich. This time the goalkeeper of the Cossacks heroically saved the team.

Another positive aspect of the match in Kazan in relation to Dynamo is that our team's second half is better and more interesting than the first. And in general, the final score does not really reflect the confidence with which Sergey Lavrentiev's team spent the second half. This applies to team interactions, and a calm game in defense, and interesting decisions ahead. The result was three scoring chances in the first 25 minutes of the second half for Dynamo players. All the same Basaeva and Nikitina could score, Helena Bojic could also score, but each of them was a little bit, but not enough.

But Yulia Bessolova had enough of everything – and an excellent penetrating pass into the penalty area from Daniela Basaeva, and space, and time, and accuracy! Despite the fact that the captain was recently called up to the Russian national team and played several matches as part of the team of legends of Russian women's football.

By the way, as it turned out, it was the goal of our leader that became victorious – in the very end, the Rubin players scored twice, however, the first goal of the Cossacks due to their foul on goalkeeper Arina Taranchenko was not counted, but the second in added time was scored according to all the rules. Fortunately, there were only a few seconds left before the final whistle and the hostesses did not have time to do anything else.

2:1 – Dynamo's victory on a difficult road trip to Kazan is not quite confident in the score, but quite convincing in the game.
