Dynamo did not use several scoring chances and lost points in Ryazan

The victory over Lokomotiv at the Russian Railways Arena in the last round was achieved not only by a beautiful, but also by a truly confident team game. Despite a long pause of three weeks since the last officially played match (with Zenit on May 23), the blue and white team finally appeared as a team capable of really doing something more serious than fighting for a place in the top half of the table.

Of course, it's still very far from that coveted prize-winning three, and even the same Loko, which occupies the fourth place in the standings, can't reach the Dynamo yet, but here the impression, the aftertaste that our team's game left on the big arena in Cherkizovo, is more important.

And it was completely different from what we were used to from the start of this season and even in the first matches of the new coaching staff, when Sergey Lavrentiev was replaced as head coach by Alexander Katasonov. This was noted by the blue and white coach himself in a post-match flash interview: "It turned out to be an interesting, fighting match, in which Lokomotiv was good, and we played beyond praise. We created a lot of chances, scored one, but could have scored more. Therefore, this is an absolutely deserved victory, without any questions. The girls in this game were real amazons and lionesses! We are working further to see ourselves in the first place."

It's hard not to agree with the other words of Alexander Mikhailovich, which he said after defeating one of the favorites of the season: "We lost a lot of points, we need to catch up." You can't be more precise here – the Dynamo team needs points like air. Yes, of course, the victory over Lokomotiv and the unexpected defeat of CSKA in Krasnodar allowed Dynamo to slightly reduce the gap from the top three. But it is still too high - 9 points from those armees, and from the railwaywomen they have just beaten, they are separated by a solid 6 points so far.

Yes, there is no time for our girls to relax, if only because rivals are also propping them up from below: Krylia Sovetov and Chertanovo are just one victory away from Dynamo. And falling below the 6th place, where the blue and white are now, is clearly not part of the plans of Katasonov's team. Certainly not after such a resounding victory over Loko in its big arena.

Therefore, our girls had no options but to bring a new victory from the departure, this time from Ryazan.

Therefore, it is not surprising that the match started very actively, and performed by both teams. At first, Ryazan football players managed to make a couple of attacks and earn a corner, then Dynamo responded in kind. But neither of them got to the shots on goal.

Interestingly, the housewives tried to use the standard provisions as usefully as possible, which they did well. But our girls played mostly on the counterattack, which looked a little unexpected, especially after such a cool victory over Lokomotiv in the last round. For the first ten minutes, the blue and white literally fought off the attacks of Ryazan football players and could not respond with anything because of their pressure.

But having endured this initial onslaught of the hostesses, the blue and white in the next ten minutes could, in fact, decide the fate of the match with two striking attacks. At first, after a perfect pass in the cut from Anna Sas, Yulia Bessolova received a super chance, but the ball, after the captain's strike, simply shook the crossbar of the Ryazan-Airborne goal and rolled out of the field. And then Elena Shesterneva gave an equally perfect transfer to Anastasia Kovaleva, after which her team was saved by the goalkeeper of the Ryazan team, Maria Svidunovich. It would seem that after such a psychological advantage should have been completely transferred to the Dynamo team, but ... without scoring two hundred percent points, the Dynamo team again pressed itself to its goal under the pressure of the Ryazan women.

However, unlike Dynamo, which scored at least one goal, Ryazan-Airborne did not even have such moments. Yes, great pressure, confident possession of the ball, approaches to the penalty area, but Ryazan had nothing like Dynamo chances. The first more or less dangerous moment for the hostesses turned out only in the 35th minute of the match: the kick from the penalty area turned out to be weak, but exactly on target, so Diana Ponomareva had to enter the game and take it in her hands.

The apogee of Dynamo's bad luck was another moment created by the same Kovaleva already at the end of the half: the Belarusian striker struck the far bottom corner, the ball had to be closed by one of the Dynamo players, but in the end he slipped past the bar and went out of the field... Christina Sahakyan's whistle sent the teams to a break with zeros on the scoreboard, which were clearly not in the game.

The blue and white coach started the second half with a substitution: instead of Kovaleva, despite the two moments she created but did not use, another striker appeared on the field – Kaylan Williams.

This time the start of the half was left to our team. However, Dynamo's bad luck has not gone away this Saturday. If Svidunovich coped with Bessolova's strike in the center of the goal, then even she could not cope with the exit of Milena Nikitina practically one-on-one, but ... the Dynamo defender could not cope with the excitement and simply shot past the goal.

But in the second half of the half there were already more nerves than football. A lot of substitutions for the two teams, including two double ones for Dynamo, were interspersed with a huge amount of struggle in the center of the field and on the approaches to each other's penalties. Despite the fact that Dynamo players did not give up trying to score at least one goal, which most likely would have been victorious, at some point they even had to go into counterattacking mode due to the fact that Ryazan-Airborne Forces was very tightly settled in the other half of the field.

The teams exchanged both attacks and blows, Katasonov's wards were usually more dangerous, but there were still no goals. And neither of them had such moments that Kovaleva and Bessolova had in the first half.

So the game came to a goalless draw – already the second for Dynamo this season. Well, "Ryazan-Airborne" for the first time since the appearance of the Dynamo club in the Winline Super League was able to take away the blue and white points.
