Dynamo will start the season on March 10 in Krasnodar

Today it became known the schedule of the new, already fifth season of the Super League. Together with him, clubs and fans learned about the changes that will be made to the medal draw in 2024.

Firstly, the number of participants in the new season of the top league of Russian women's football has changed. A new participant has been added to the former Super League roster – Spartak Housing and Communal Services. Thus, in the 2024 season, 13 teams will compete for the title of champions of Russia.:

– Dynamo, Lokomotiv, Spartak, CSKA, Chertanovo (all from Moscow)

– "Yenisei" (Krasnoyarsk)

– Zvezda-2005 (Perm)

– Zenit (Saint Petersburg)

– "Krasnodar" (Krasnodar)

– "Wings of the Soviets" (Samara)

– "Rostov" (Rostov-on-Don)

– "Rubin" (Kazan)

– "Ryazan-Airborne" (Ryazan)

Secondly, the very scheme of the championship will change. Recall that last season the teams held a draw in two stages – preliminary and final with division into two groups. One group – the teams that took 1-6 places at the preliminary stage – competed for the championship title and medals, the second – the clubs that took 7-12 places – determined the final placement in the second half of the standings.

In the 2024 season, 13 teams will hold a smooth two-round tournament with away and home games, a total of 24 matches each. The 1st round is scheduled for March 9-10, the season will finish in mid-November.

During the season, there are pauses for training camps and games of national teams, as well as for holding matches of the Cup of Russia.

Dynamo will play the opening match in the 2024 Super League on March 10 on the road against FC Krasnodar. The meeting starts at the stadium of the Academy of FC Krasnodar at 11:30 Moscow time.

By the way, our team has already started the season with a game in Krasnodar – in April 2022, Sergei Lavrentiev's wards, then playing in the Youth League, held their first official match in the club's history here. Then the meeting ended in a draw (1:1), and the first historic goal was scored by Alina Chistyakova from a corner by Varvara Rubtsova.

Last season, Dynamo already won a landslide victory here within the Super League – 2:0, Marina Fedorova and Kaylan Williams scored goals.
