Dynamo and Zvezda-2005 played a tense match, but they didn't score any goals

What will Dynamo show in its third match under the leadership of acting head coach Alexander Katasonov? It seems that every blue-and-white fan was ready to ask this question on the eve of the meeting with the strong "Star-2005".

The team under the management of the new mentor looked very good in the previous two matches: with "Yenisei" in Krasnoyarsk, where in difficult conditions she defeated 3:0 Siberians and then at home in the derby with "Chertanovo" (2:1). If it hadn't been for the goal from Chertanovok, missed in the minority and in the last minute of regular time, then Alexander Mikhailovich's debut on the coaching bridge would have turned out to be flawless at all: two wins, 5 goals scored and zero goals conceded.

But even without that, what Dynamo saw in the last two matches inspired optimism – both in the game and in the result. It has already been said about the game, but here is the result… A lot was lost at the start of the season, of course, and these losses were not always logical.

Well, who could have imagined a home defeat from Krylia Sovetov, which last season was one of the worst teams in the championship? Or a away defeat from Krasnodar, with which the blue and white had only a positive balance before: 4 wins and 0 goals conceded! But, as they say, we have what we have.

However, even after only 7 matches played in the season, it's probably too early to talk about losses and sprinkle ashes on your head. Firstly, there is almost a whole season ahead, during which it will still be possible to fix, and secondly, even in the nearest short period, everything is in the hands and feet of Dynamo football players.

Before the break in the championship (end of May-mid-June), Dynamo will play three home matches (they have already won one against Chertanovo plus Zvezda 2005 today and CSKA in a week) and will go to St. Petersburg to meet Zenit, which is still some kind of monumentality and incredible invincibility can not boast. By the way, from the same Zenit, which currently occupies third place in the Winline Super League standings, Dynamo is separated by only five points, and by the personal meeting of the two clubs, the St. Petersburg team will have to go to Perm and Krasnoyarsk – the longest trips in the championship.

However, it's definitely not worth thinking about Zenit or someone else's Dynamo team right now - except about the nearest rival.

And he decided to show himself in all his glory. At least, the defensive game shown by Zvezda-2005 this Saturday in Novogorsk has definitely become one of the best examples of how to do this with the overwhelming advantage of the opponent.

Paradoxically, the blue and white could open the account already in the 3rd minute of the meeting! Only if it was possible to do this in the last game with Chertanovo, then the ball did not want to fly into the gates of the Perm team from the first seconds of the match until it was over.

And if there was a lot of chaos and struggle on the field at the opening of the match, including in the center of the field, the teams played as if without a goal, then gradually the wards of Alexander Katasonov took advantage of themselves and began to create dangerous moments one after another.

The most real of them was Kaylan Williams, the heroine of the fight with Chertanovo. In the 23rd minute, the American hit the cross of Margarita Shirokova's goal. They continued to pump up the dynamos further, but the same Shirokova, along with the protection of Zvezda-2005, literally stood like a wall in front of her gates.

The next real opportunity had to wait about 15 minutes. And again permyachek saved the frame of the gate! This time Isidora Vuchkovic charged from the penalty area into the crossbar so that the ball flew almost to the center of the field. In general, in the first half, the blue and white very often hit the goal of Zvezda 2005, and they tried to do it both from a long and medium distance, and almost point blank. Well, the ball did not go into Shirokova's goal, as if she had bewitched them. So with zeros on the scoreboard, the teams left for a break.

The miracle of Williams, who scored both of her goals at the beginning of each half in the last match, did not happen in the game with the Perm team: the American and at the same time Kristina Komissarova were replaced at halftime, and Daniela Basaeva and Berivan Ichen came out instead to refresh the attack.

And again Dynamo football players actively started the time. It is already a traditional tactic from Dynamo, which has been successful in previous games. It could and should have worked this time, but ... Yulia Bessolova was left alone in the penalty area and could have scored safely – but instead the captain launched the ball into the sky!

By the 60th minute it became clear that the double substitution during the break did not give Dynamo the desired effect, the blue and white attacks were still crashing against the Perm defense. It seems that they added the freshness of the substitution to the team, but as such the quality in the attack did not increase. And the Permians calmly defended themselves, occasionally getting out to counterattack.

It is necessary to blame, of course, and our girls. Somehow they acted quite ingenuously in good situations, in which it was possible to come up with something more interesting. For example, in the 72nd minute, when Berivan Ichen, who received the right to a promising free kick, decided to simply hit the goal – it turned out both high and inaccurate. Or here is the episode in the 75th minute: I beat all the rivals of Isidora Vuchkovich, entered the penalty area, but she struck quite simply and uncomplicated for Shirokova. The goalkeeper of the Perm club caught such courage that it was the simplest task for her to pick up such a ball in the fall.

The coaching staff of the blue and white released another reinforcement in the attack - Anastasia Kovaleva came out instead of Shlapakova, who has already scored this season, and in the last minutes. In general, dynamovki continued to press, but Zvezda-2005 was quite satisfied with the draw on the road, as was the development of the game itself.

Everything could have been decided in favor of Dynamo in the last five minutes of the meeting. In the 87th minute, the crush at the gates of Perm after a corner kick ended with Bessolova's blow and... Sahakyan's whistle: even if the ball crossed the goal line of Zvezda-2005, the foul in the attack would have canceled this goal anyway. And already in added time, Helena Bojic could have brought victory to the team, who closed the ball with her head from the flank, but it passed centimeters from the bar…

A slightly strange match ended in a goalless draw: the first for Dynamo in the season and the second in a row for Zvezda-2005.
