— We carried out the game plan that we had, but we faced a problem that we already had in the game against Rostov this season – we can't score, we don't realize a huge number of moments. Although the players do everything right in training and everything works out.
Plus, the time zone change affected. After all, having breakfast at 6 o'clock in the morning in Moscow and playing at 10 o'clock is not the most usual activity for us.
In the first half, the problem with the implementation was not solved. During the break, of course, it was possible to yell at the girls, but I did the opposite, I chose a different tactic. We tried to calm them down, because in general they did everything right, created moments, just let down the implementation. Therefore, we asked them to score and exhale.
They did it, thank them very much for that. In the second half, we continued our game, although we slightly changed the scheme on the field, but the main thing is that we achieved the result. We went through such a difficult moment, but this is what hardens us. A real team is born when it overcomes all obstacles.
I would like to thank the opponent as well. I have a lot of respect for teams that develop girls, their young talents, and they do it through combination football, and not just give them an installation to hit the goal from any position.
