The 20-year-old forward of ZHFC "Dynamo" announced the end of her professional career as a football player.
Chochieva made her debut in the top league of Russian women's football at the age of 15 as part of the Housing and Communal Complex Chertanovo, however, due to a serious injury, she was forced to miss the 2022 season completely. In February 2023, Alana became a Dynamo Moscow player and last season she played 20 matches for our club, in which she scored 9 goals and became the top scorer of the U-21 team in the Youth League. In addition, Alana Chochieva is a participant in the first official matches of the Dynamo Housing and Communal Services in the Super League and the Russian Cup.
The last match played by Chochieva for Dynamo was the meeting of the 4th round of the final stage of the Super League against FC Zenit (0:3), which took place on November 18 in St. Petersburg.
The footballer played for Russian national teams of different ages: junior U-16 and U-17 (11 matches, 5 goals) and youth U-19 (5 matches, 1 goal). As part of the Moscow junior national team of girls under 17, Chochieva won the IX Summer Youth Spartakiad in 2019 and was recognized as the best striker of the tournament.
On January 7, Alana Chochieva decided not only to leave our club, but also to end her football career.
— I am a person who is 100 percent committed to what he is doing. Over time, I realized that football takes and will take up all my time, which I miss so much to be with my family. I am constantly either in training, or at training camps, or at games.
And I also realized that in the future I don't see myself as a professional football player. Yes, I love football very much, but I'm not ready to give it all the time, that's why I made this difficult decision for myself – to leave football and spend more time with my family.
